Hey everyone,

My fiance entered the US this past Friday-- exactly 6 months since our NOA1! I am soooo happy to be "done" with this phase and for us to be together! Good luck to everyone... the wait is well worth all the stress. (L)

CONGRATS!! My fiance will enter in 2 weeks and thanks to you we found a very good price on flight out of Abuja. Congrats again!

POE was "OK". He said the interview there was more stressful than the one at the embassy! They asked him basic questions about my job, when we're getting married etc but the guy was just rude and kept cutting him off. All in all, it went ok. His flight landed at 1:50pm and we were together by 3:20pm. So, everything including baggage claim took 1.5 hours. Not bad.

So there is another interview at POE? Glad u said that so I can let my fiance know.

02/29/2016- NOA1 Received by USCIS

03/02/2016- NOA1 hard copy received
06/02/2016- Text notification of RFE

03/xx/2017-Biometrics letter received (can't recall exact date but week of 3/27)

04/10/2017-Notice recv'd that RFIE was returned to USCIS; sent inquiry to re-send to same address

Well, yes. Just because you have a visa doesn't automatically allow you into the country. It's up the airport people if they feel they need to question you or not, if they feel they can let you in or not.

Someone was asking previously how much the medical is. I just had mine today and it cost me USD370. However, I would need to come back for more shots & pay more. It really depends what you need but hope this gives you an idea :)

We were put in AP today. They first changed our case status from immigrant to non immigrant, and changed our case created date to today. Then soon after we went into AP. Hoping it doesn't last too long.

Has anyone else been having an issue with updating their timeline? Every time I go to mines there is no option to edit it anymore.

It's still there. Menu > Timeline > Add/Edit entry

That just happened to me too, and the day after it said "Issued" and visa is on its way.

I think when your case status changes like that your visa is printed in your passport and once that's done your status will say issued.

Dee had her interview today at the US Embassy in Jakarta. We were approved. Thanks everyone for your help so far! We still have some steps to go.

It was nerve wracking for me as she went in at 1:30 AM US eastern time (12:30 PM JKT time) and didn't come out for almost 2 hours. The interview itself was pretty short but she had to wait a long time to get it.
