Id start contacting the congress person and ombudsman, they may not be able to help right now because I think you're still wishing the processing times, but that might trigger an update.

I understand that you're pissed off and it doesn't make it any better that USCIS in many cases don't bother to change your address in their systems, in case you want to try and do that. So many stories on here lately where address changes never went through - us included. NOA2 was sent to the old address despite us changing the address a few weeks prior to that and we even got a confirmation that the change had been made.

At least we got the note eventually, I'm so sorry for you to go through this. =/

Okay, I can ask my fiance to start a conversation with congressman right away.

Any other recommendations please! since I don't want to sit idle and leave this on time, My fiance has spoken to 6 different Tier 2 officers so far and all of them have different sayings, which even make the case worst.

Any idea, in case I want to restart the whole process - what needs to be done?

Thanks,

Unless you want to start a cr1, don't restart the k1. It will only help bringing more confusion to your life and immigration

First try and solve this problem through the congress person and ombudsman.

There are a few things you might do to try to resolve your situation:

1. Post your experience on VJ K-1 Visa Process & Procedures forum. You might get more responses and possibly other members' input: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/80-k-1-fiancee-visa-process-procedures/

2. Keep calling USCIS and politely request to speak with a Tier-2 supervisor again.

3. File Form DHS-7001 with USCIS Ombudsman for case assistance: https://cisomb.dhs.gov/oca/form7001.aspx

4. Schedule a InfoPass appointment with the local USCIS office for in-person assistance: https://my.uscis.gov/appointment

5. Contact your Congressman for assistance by phone, email and/or snail mail.

6. Contact an experienced immigration attorney.

I would do all these in the above listed order, letting #6 as a last and final resort. Good luck to you, let us know how it turns out.

Hi Lowens8! Mine is 2 weeks and still AP status. May I ask if they collected your passport upon interview?

I am worried because the consul only asked me to send my lacking document via email and collected my passport on my interview date

but now I am panicking if I should mail it to them again because up to now there are no update or even replies to my embassy :(

Thanks!

Yes they took his passport at the interview. They asked for additional chat logs (even though they wouldn't look at what he had brought). He sent the chat logs via email and I confirmed with the embassy also thought email that they had been received. The additional chat logs were received June 23rd and we've been waiting ever since.

The "Status Updated Date" finally changed for the first time on July 18th since June.

Thats a relief! it will be there soon! Do you know what courier do they use in your country? Maybe you can track through the courier on the status of your passport;

because here, we use Aramex and through Aramex, we can see the status of the passport.

Goodluck to us :)

Definitely good luck to both of us! I'm not sure what courier is used in Russia (I'm the USC) but I've just been checking the CEAC website to see if we've been approved every day.

I'll put "yes" on that one as I'll have the medical done by the time of the interview, then I'll have all documentations needed for that.

Well good news, my fiance interviewed and was approved on Monday! We had a scare the night before because she had forgotten the original police certificate back in her home city, but luckily they let her bring it in later that afternoon and all was well. Officer only asked her three questions (how/when we met, say 3 things about your fiances personality, how many times has your fiance visited Honduras). Now we just wait for the visa to be issued and she should come over sometime in August.
