Hello everyone!

Tonight my fianceé and I entered at JFK POE, the immigration officers treated us very respectfully. It's surreal being with her finally in my country, we are both so happpy. I thought we would be split but it seems you are allowed to enter with your fiancee (at JFK at least)

Anyone know what's up with the i-94 thing? We didn't get any paper but I read it's needed for naturalization. Is it done electronically now?

Hello everyone!

Hi everyone!

I had my visa interview this morning! Everything went well but I need to send W2 of my joint sponsor for them to continue the process of my visa. However, my passport is still with them.

(waiting for my joint sponsor to wake up so she can send me her W2)

I also asked the consul if there will be a problem, she then told me to not worry because W2 is very easy to get and she is so nice she just asked me to email it to them.

I am having mixed emotions and i am not really sure if I shall celebrate now because it is approved? Haha

Thank you Georgia! I have sent the W2 same day yesterday. Will just wait for the update online or hopefully will receive my visa soon! Wooop! Cant wait!

2016/04/07: NOA2 Text Received.

2016/04/27: NVC Case# Received.

2016/05/17: Packet 4 Received. (Packet 3 was skipped)

2016/05/30: Medical in Vancouver.
2016/06/22: Interview in Montreal.

2016/06/28: Administrative Processing.

2016/06/29: Visa Issued.

2016/07/08: Visa in hand.

2016/07/09: POE in Calgary.

2016/08/16: Married!

AOS Process

2016/10/01: Sent in AOS Package.

2016/10/17: NOA Text Received.

2016/10/28: Biometrics Appointment Letter.

2016/11/08: Biometrics Appointment.

2016/12/16: Form I-131 (Travel) and EAD Approved.

2017/03/02: Form I-485 Approved.

That's what I did. Had birth certificate, I-94 and passport and then the form from online with me and got the card a week after in the mail.

Fiance had her interview in Montreal today. Got approved!! Woot! I'll be flying to Buffalo at the end of August and we'll be driving down to San Diego with all her junk. Not looking forward to the long drive but definitely will be a good first (long) road trip together and the start of our second leg of this journey... Thanks for all the help.
