Hey feb filers just a quick question for those of you have have completed the process once you pay the visa fee before the interview is there another fee to be paid ? And we're most of you issued the visa right then and there at the interview ?

For the k1 is the last fee you pay and no, the visa is issued some time later (days, weeks, depending on your embassy)

Question on responding to RFE, delivery options. When we did our original I-129F we went with pretty deluxe delivery, registered mail return receipt requested. Is that indicated for an RFE response? or is regular priority mail sufficient? What do other folk do?

I would not trust USPS by just sending it regular mail. You want to make sure your mail is delivered and you are notified. If you are going to use USPS, I recommend you send it first class, registered and return receipt. It normally takes 1-3 business days for delivery, but if you prefer something quicker, you can use their Express Mail service or one of the overnight courier services, (FedEx, UPS or DHL). Remember those are premium services and come at a price. You might be saving a day or 2 by using them and their reliability is much better than USPS. I use FedEx Standard Overnight service and never had an issue. Edited by MandyAlex

I forgot to mention that FedEx needs a physical address for delivery, so if you only have a P.O. Box to send your RFE response, your only option is USPS then.

After 109 days of waiting (with an RFE), our status online changed to Case Approved! Our NOA2 is on the way. I am in shock because we have just replied and it only took 5 days to get approved from our RFE. GOD IS SO GOOD, what a beautiful birthday gift (It really is what I asked for in my prayers). (L) I am at work and I feel like crying! :crying:

Hello guys!! I have sent back the packet 3 back to the embassy with D160 Confirmation page, signed form and my receipt.

I did not include the "checklist" cos I was thinking I will be using it as my guide.

Do I need to send it back with the Packet3? or is it ok if I will just bring it on my interview date?

HELP

So sorry to hear that. Have you checked in with others from SA to see if they waited so long?

Yeah Georgia, someone with dates almost identical to mine just got their interview date and its set for the end of August. Usually Saudi is so much faster than this, from what I've noticed in the past. I guess they are backed up due to summer? It's so frustrating. My ten year high school reunion is in the first of September and my birthday as well. I was really hoping my fiancé would be here to attend it. :( oh well. I'm not going to let it get me down too much.

HELP

Its all embassy specific at this point. You can ask this question in your country forum.

DS160 confirmation, you have to bring with you to the interview.

Goodluck!
