My fiancé's mom lost his birth cert.

Your fiance is the petitioner?

Birth certificate in the USA? In many cases, they can be ordered online.

try vitalcheck.com, and for immigration purposes, they should get the correct version (not just a birth record). That should become clear when they order their birth certificate.

Thanks. We replied with a copy of all the pages of his passport instead, just waiting for the lawyer to send it out. And yes, I'm the beneficiary :P

I am panicking 100%. Remember how my lawyer forgot to send out my fiancé's proof of citizenship that's why we got an RFE? I have emailed him my fiancé's copies of ALL passport pages and instructed him very clearly to send all of it.

He replied with this when I followed up 'The documents went out this afternoon. USCIS did not require all copies of his passport. Usually, we only submit the ID page.'

I replied and said

'Please refer to the USCIS link below and look at section 5d

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf

I really hope you did send out ALL pages as I do not want to have another RFE. I hope they let it go if ever.'

Can he be any more stupid??? Omg.... OMG! And I can't just let him off the boat now as it might slow the process even more and we would have to contact USCIS. If it's another RFE, I will really ask for a refund, postpone my wedding and kick him out. My heart is sinking. I hope USCIS lets it go :( I have seen some people on here sending only the ID page of the passport and they got their NOA2. I hope our case is the same. (Dying inside)

Hopefully they will accept it. But if I were you, I would've fired that lawyer on the first RFE!! Lol. From now on, I'd be handling things myself. It sounds like you can do a better job. Fingers crossed that it goes well.

When we got our RFE I replied back myself. USCIS received my reply before my lawyer even got notice of the FRE on their end. I saved us easily a week if not more time doing it myself.

I wish we could but the RFE went to his office and not to my fiancé's address. You need to attach the RFE slip with the documents. Sigh. :( hoping they are kinder and let that one page slip through.
