wow, lots of approvals recently.

I'm happy to say I got notified in the app just a few minutes ago that my case status changed.

We also got NOA2 approval today, after 112 days according to the VJ timeline.

Georgia .. are you finished? We started within a few days of each other :)

I havent been in a moment, So I am taking the time to give felicitations to everyone who has been approved, and wedding bells are on the horizon to their Happily ever afters :-)

I also want to give congrats on those who recently received thier NOA2 after a long wait.. YaY!!! lol

And those who are still waiting for your approvals.... my heart goes out to you and understand the desperation of feeling left out and far away from your love one. I am going to wish many positive thoughts and of course a little pray so that you will receive a booming Approved very soon :thumbs: .

As far as myself I am gettig ready to leave to Peru shortly for my Fiance's interview on the 30th of June.... of course I am so nervous, but positive that all will be well :yes: ....

Again wishing everyone peace, and much happiness. Thank you to those who have answered my questions and offered congrats.... :wub:

2016-05-11: Medical Appointment at Knightsbridge medical, London;

2016-06-24: K1 interview at US embassy in London --> Approved! :dancing:;

2016-08-04: POE at Atlanta airport;
2016-08-22: Got married;

Filing for AOS, EAD and AP from K1 visa

2016-09-09: Filed for AOS;
2016-09-11: AOS package delivered at PO box in Chicago;

2016-09-19: Texts and e-mails received for AOS, EAD and AP;

2016-10-01: Received biometrics appointment notice letter - Appointment has been made for 2016-10-11;

2016-10-11: Biometrics appointment;

2016-11-03: Received approval for AP and EAD;

2016-11-18: Received EAD/AP combo card :dancing:;
2016-11-29: I-485 (AOS) approval date :dancing: ;
2016-12-03: Received I-485 approval notice letter;

Congratulations to you guys too!!! :) may I know how was it and what questions they asked just so I could have an idea :) my interview is on the 16th and getting nervous/excited already.

congratulations!!! May I ask how was it and what were the questions asked? Getting ready for my interview on the 16th :)

T'was sooo smooth, was there at 6:00am, my scheduled interview appointment was 6:45am, i was out by 9:30am,

Questions asked as follows:

1. Who is your petitioner?

2. What is your relationship to the petitioner?

3. How did you meet?

4. What site did you meet?

Ans. Its not a site, its a chat program called mIRC

5. How many times did you meet?

After 4 minutes of browsing the 129f file and computer, then suddenly he said congratulations!

I then asked am i approved? He said YES! You may now proceed to step 5

I was noa not asked for anything, not even affidavit of support.

Some CO are friendly, some are not.

Yay! I was hoping you guys would get your NOA2! And congrats to everyone who's moving onto their next step! My fiancé's interview is the 16th and medical is the 15th so we're getting everything together ?

Found out we were denied K1 2016-08-02

Congrats! I think i saw your fiance at the Embassy this morning ???

Was she super pissed because someone (me) messed up on the DS-160 and had to do it over super fast? Haha

Hahaha didnt noticed, i was nervous myself. Alot of things going on my mind. But honestly, interview is the easiest part of the whole process.

I have yet to congratulate you, Georgia16! My heart sank for you when I read a couple days ago that you didn't get approved right away and rejoiced when you got approved immediately a couple days after. You deserve it! So...

Thank you for the information! Completed the requirements needed for the interview already, well except for the medical that I am putting off until next week since I got sick since last wednesday with cough and colds.

I hope I get to have a friendly CO because when I applied for a tourist visa before, the one I got wasn't and it didnt help ease nervousness at all. Lol.

Congratulations again!!! ❤️ So happy that you'll be with your fiance soon!

Interview went well, the consular only looked at a handful of pictures and asked how we met. Since I knew her family here in the US they asked how I met them years ago. How many times I've visited, what my job is, asked if I was divorced or had any kids. Asked to see the CENOMAR, Live Birth cert from NSO, my Affidavit of Support, her NBI and my divorce decree from my previous marriage.

The only thing that was hard for her was when the consular spoke in slang with a thick accent she wasn't used to hearing. Her interview went very well and the consular was very nice. They joked a little about her height because she couldn't reach the papers from across the desk lol. Easiest part of the whole process was the interview. Just mae sure you have all your papers in order and it will make for an easy day. Print shops in the area charge P400 for printing jobs...

She also applied for a tourist visa a couple years ago before my divorce was final and the CO was very rude the whole time. It made her scared of the whole process this time around.
