Hey feb forum March filter here I recently reviewed noa2. Just a few questions I'm hoping someone here has already been through and can help ? Once I receive my case number from nvc should I get my fiancé to do medical and police clearance right away along with schedule interview ? That way by the time nvc mails out packet to the embassy and the embassy mails him packet 3 we will already have everything and an interview scheduled ? Or do we HAVE to wait for the embassy to send packet 3 and follow instructions from there . I'm trying to be proactive and cut down on the time line and waiting . Please advise !! Any info would be amazing thank you !!

I think this depends on your Country so I'd suggest looking at the forum and asking that question there. Canada makes it so that you can't do the medical without the interview date booked, but other Countries have it so that you can book the medical when you have your case number. Ask around, e-mail or phone her embassy/consulate if that would help.

2016/04/07: NOA2 Text Received.

2016/04/27: NVC Case# Received.

2016/05/17: Packet 4 Received. (Packet 3 was skipped)

2016/05/30: Medical in Vancouver.
2016/06/22: Interview in Montreal.

2016/06/28: Administrative Processing.

2016/06/29: Visa Issued.

2016/07/08: Visa in hand.

2016/07/09: POE in Calgary.

2016/08/16: Married!

AOS Process

2016/10/01: Sent in AOS Package.

2016/10/17: NOA Text Received.

2016/10/28: Biometrics Appointment Letter.

2016/11/08: Biometrics Appointment.

2016/12/16: Form I-131 (Travel) and EAD Approved.

2017/03/02: Form I-485 Approved.

Quick question: the page was updated as approved today, but it actually says it was approved on the 31st May... Shall I use 31st for my timeline?

The NVC received our case today!! I will call tomorrow for the case number they did not have it today.
