No folders or anything just put them all in an envelope.

And look at the guides on the top tap. There you can find example forms and how to put it together :)

Thank you :D

Hey guys, I mailed my petition for my hubby to be on Tuesday February 2, 2016 and was received on Wednesday. Waiting anxiously for check to be cashed so I know its been touched.

Good luck to everyone.

Hi! Just wondering howd you know that they received it already? Did they text you or you tracked it yourself thru the courier? My f sent our packet on the 3rd and thats day after yours.. Hoping that to receive a confirmation from them today or Monday☺️

I sent mine on the 2nd and it just got "picked up" today, according to my tracking... And I sent it priority 2 day, so it sometimes adds a day or so... But it'll get there, for sure.

Good to know! I am still working on our papers. Dis you leave blank on the items that are not applicable? and where did you put all the documents? Is clear folder will do?

Sorry for the silly questions. I just want everything to go smoothly!

Good luck!!

Recommendation for pictures. Paste in a word document 4 pictures to a page and then take the file to a printing store and ask that they be laser printed onto bond paper. Usually 92lb paper is best.

As far as assembly, they prefer you use paper clips or Black Metal Binder Clips http://www.staples.com/Staples-Black-Metal-Binder-Clips/product_SS271759 The idea here is to make their job easier and not harder.

Do not send folders or clear folder pages as this makes their job that much more difficult. Use a cover letter with bullet points of each document as assembled. http://dennyeyberg.wix.com/filipino-am-visa#!i-129f-letter/cqq1

Good luck.

There are a few ways of knowing.

First ... Did you send it with signature required or at least some form of tracking from your carrier?

Second ... did they cash your check?

Third ... did you include G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance?

Fourth ... have you registered here https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do to follow your case?

I see your processing through the Philippines. I have a website that will walk you through step by step on the Philippines process. It's free to use. I list the steps, documents and other pertinent information so that you avoid the "gotchas" that are presented while processing. Gotchas can cost you time and or money. I help you avoid those.

I am almost done! I have printed and followed your tips.

Lastly i just want to be clear if i did the right thing with regards of my fiances address.

My fiance lives here in Singapore but he has a DPO (Diplomatic Post Office) mailing address

What we prepared is;

- on our intent to marry letters etc, we put his Singapore address

- on the forms that asked his mailing address, we put his DPO (diplomatic post office) address.

I dont want them to be confused that i am putting different addresses. I hope im on the right track

I would think you'd be alright... I used to have an APO box and used that as mailing address but with a different physical address on a lot of government forms multiple times. No issues...
