Thank you everyone!! :) I'll let you know as soon as I know something did talk to the embassy and they seemed to give green light on those papers in stead of the others but still want to see the online status change :)

I'm somewhat losing hope. I have everything set for our wedding and it seems like it's not happening in the time that we are hoping for. I try to be hopeful but hearing nothing everyday and seeing people get approvals when we filed way ahead of them isn't very convincing. I think they have forgotten about some of the files. We did everything right, got a lawyer, provided everything... I don't know why it's taking forever.

Don't lose hope. It will happen. We have to have hope. :-)

That's such great news! :dancing: I am happy to hear that Georgia16.

Good luck Meg&Andrew! I hope it will go fast and it won't be delayed. Keep us posted.

Thank you. Just found out that my fiancés mother now conveniently doesn't have his vaccination records or birth certificate from the Philippines. Ugh. It's one thing after another...

Great news Georgia! We are still waiting for our medical and police report. The hospital advised him to be there tomorrow, but I'm not sure if that's for the medical or to just schedule the appointment. Our police report, we're still waiting for. He has to have a Saudi national take him to the police station before they will even entertain him, and that's proving to be a bit difficult. Hopefully he will be able to get it this week. With Ramadan coming up its going to be even more difficult to get things done :(

Hope you can get it !!!

And fingers crossed for everyone still waiting for NOA2!!

Thank you. He said he only has the certified copy of his birth certificate. Not the original. Also, he has the paper from his college showing what vaccinations he's had. Can this help him at all?

It really depends on the embassy some are more strict then others. Why don't you write them and ask?

I just read over our package 3 again, and it states you can use the certified birth certificate. Which is a HUGE sigh of relief. As for the vaccinations, it said if you don't have the vaccination record, your doctor will help to decide which vaccinations you may need. I'm hoping that he can give the doctor his school records, and that will help him figure it out. He's going to the hospital today, so hopefully We can get this fixed somehow.

I'm sure it will be fine :) he has a record with the vaccines and the doctor can take a blood test to see which he have had. Good luck with him today!!

Believe me I understand, but there are many people waiting longer than us.

The hard part waiting for the NOA2 or RFE/response is that we have zero visibility to when they might decide to pick up our folder and look at it. Mine hasn't been touched since Feb 12. So did it fall in between 2 desks? Did the person assigned to handle it decide to take a sabbatical? Do they not like the color of the envelope we used? Do they not like our last names? Who knows? Maybe it's none of that, but there really should be a better way of doing this so it's a much fairer process for everybody.

Yanisa and I were hoping she would be able to fly back with me during my October visit, but any fixed date is up in the air now.

Hang in there, there's a lot of us here that don't post like the others do, and we can only wish them well and hope that once our case is handled, that we move through the rest of the steps as quickly as they are and without complications.

-David

Thanks for your response. All this waiting is unfortunately a very helpless case but it does give a sense of comfort to be in this forum. I wish you all the best with yours. I hope we all get answers soon. :)
