Hopefully CSC gets right into it today and starts processing lots of cases..God bless you all today's gonna be a good day

Looking at the Google APP, I've noticed that the I-129Fs seem to get their RFEs midday, and their approvals between 6 - 8PM PDT. Seems like they probably have all of the approvals scanned and uploaded in bulk at the end of the day.

As for the delays, I saw a story where it appears that even more work was transferred to the California Service Center.

http://www.lexology.com/library/detail.aspx?g=d6780d9e-24b1-4ce9-b43c-45216329afee

Imagine getting no more employees, but having all this work sent to you. It would explain why the date for files being adjudicated on the "Processing Time" here has stayed at 03/08/2016 for a while.

I think what helps me stay patient is two things. First, it used to take 8 months just to get through this process from everything I have read. By the time the entire process was done, it was 10 - 12 months on average. On top of that, with the app, you can see others around your date who are also still waiting.

From everything I have read, someone basically grabs a stack from a shelf, sticks them in a box, and then starts working them. When working them, they do background checks, look over everything you sent, and do a lot of other work to make sure the relationship is valid.

I know for me, my fiance has a very common name in the Philippines. When she needs an NBI clearance, it always takes her 2 weeks extra to get it because she always gets a "hit." I imagine that will happen here also and they will check her further to make sure she is good to come here.

Anyway, I will just continue to patiently wait, pray, and look forward to the time when she can finally come here. I've known her for 6 years and we have been together officially for over a year. We were very close friends long before she was my fiance.

Prayers to all! Let's just be patient. :-)

Thank you :)

Oops...forgot to wish you all the best tomorrow Georgia. I'm sure you will do great in the interview. (easy for me to say). However, I do have experience - I had to interview for my AOS and Citizenship a few years ago and I know its nerve racking but you will be just fine.

Thank you very much!!! Thanks to you all I had a pretty good idea on how to do things

As for the interview itself it wasn't too long or too short(I think around 15 pretty straightforward questions), almost every question was standard "where and when you met" "does your fiance work" "do you work""has he been married before" "have you been married before","has he got any children", also since we met in an online game I was asked to say a few words about it. I was nervous and messed up my english a couple of times, but the council corrected me, he was very polite and nice, not hard to understand.

Now it's time to check ceac again and wait for the "issued" status as I understand.

Best luck to those who are still waiting for NOA2 and have to go to the interview soon!

Good luck to everyone who has their interview tomorrow!

And ouch, poor California. I can see why it's taking them longer to get things done. Hopefully they'll be able to start employing more people if things slow down too much. I'm keeping everyone who hasn't gotten their NOA2 in my prayers, keep your chins up!
