Nevermind my question above. Found a clear cut page on the Amsterdam embassy page.

Oh yes!...

How far are people??

Who is waiting for NOA2?

Who is waiting for NVC?

Who is waiting for their embassy to get back?

And who is waiting for the interview?

Seems that there are people waiting for it all, would be nice to hear how far people have gotten so far?

Waiting for NVC !

Fiance called NVC again today and they told us that they already received our case but its not in their system yet. My fiance asked if they have an idea when it will be ready and the NVC person answered "42 days from now." ?

Is that another one of their auto-response? Also, do you guys advice on emailing them for the #, too? If yes, when is the right time to email them for it?

Thanks guys!!!

I think that's just an auto-response - I got the same answer!

02/10/16 - Mailed I-129F

02/22/16 - NOA1

04/13/16 - NOA2!

Kinda panicked there a little lol cause the day before yesterday they said 35 days from NOA2 date and then it became 42 days from the phone call. Haha!

Hope you get your number from NVC soon!

I know it's probably stupid, but I've been thinking about it for a while. I have a travelling passport, but I've never been abroad, there aren't any visas in it at all. Would it be a red flag for the interview? I don't have any visa denials, just literally have never been abroad at all for various reasons, my fiancé came to see mee instead and there are pictures and tickets and everything as proof of it. I have yet to schedule an interview, just trying to prepare in advance as I'm generally nervous at all kinds of events be it exams or interviews.

This is not a problem, the requirement to apply was that you seen each other at least once in the past two years. Which you have.

Thank you! (L) I think I'm becoming a bit paranoid closer to the interview, but hopefully everything will be ok :) Perhaps it's not only me, other people are overthinking things while waiting for NOAs, NVC and embassy as well.

We all feel that way. To ease my own nervousness I contact some recent VISA receivers from my own country here through VJ (private messaging) and asked them the questions I was unsure of, so that I would have the most up-to-date information. Some were really helpful and I'm ready! (Our case is on it's way to the embassy in Amsterdam!)

I think it's normal to not have travelled out of the country and your fiancé came to you...I think the evidence your fiancé provided is sufficient and for Russia specifically I think showing that your fiancé had to get a Russian visa to visit strongly supports the meeting ?

:luv: Thank you for the support and it's just me overthingking a lot. Oh yes, getting a Russian visa and coming from a warm state to Russia in winter was pretty admirable, if I was him I'd be scared to death

That's nice to hear! Soon, very soon you'll be done with this part :) Ours is at the embassy, but hasn't been touched yet(national holiday). So great to know you aren't alone.

Good luck to you all wherever you are, waiting for NOA or NVC or embassy, I'm sure, just a bit longer and you will be there (F)

So from what I've been reading through everyone's posts.. it seems the last person to receive the NOA2, received their NOA1 around Feb 25?? I'm just trying to see if I should be expecting my NOA2 soon... =/

Thank you everyone!

Thanks! Yes, we've done all the prep steps, looks like it's time to wait again. :)

When you have your LND you can book your medical straight away and then 5 days later you can book your interview. You don't need to wait, in fact that will slow you getting your visa down by weeks. If I get my LND next week for example, I will fill out my DS-160, book the next available medical appointment, fill out my readiness form and then the following week apply for my interview date.

My NVC shows currently 'In Transit', not sure what it means. Takes 3-4 working days at NVC before moving to 'In Transit'.

In transit as in transportation. So it's shipped and on it's way to your embassy.

They use DHL so should be < a week for it to get there. Then another week or so before you hear from the embassy (if all goes well)

Ours is in transit too, i'm real excited!
