Georgia, it's a lovely idea to even make a list who's where, but there are so many people :)

->waiting for the embassy to send an email or contact it in any way to see if they opened our case or even know it's there (according to NVC it has been sent and now is at the embassy)

I'm not making any list? ;)

It´s just good to hear where people are since many have been in the group for months ...

I would go to down to the UK subforum and read though about what you need to be doing. Things like getting your vaccinations up to date. You'll need your records for the medical. Then getting a police check done (you need this for the medical too) and there is other paperwork to do with your affidavit if you have that all done then yes just wait for your case number at NVC. Once you have that you can fill in the DS-160 online, book your medical, fill out the readiness form, book your interview and pay your fees. In that order I believe.

Thanks! Yes, we've done all the prep steps, looks like it's time to wait again. :)

Oh yes!...

How far are people??

Who is waiting for NOA2?

Who is waiting for NVC?

Who is waiting for their embassy to get back?

And who is waiting for the interview?

Seems that there are people waiting for it all, would be nice to hear how far people have gotten so far?

I'm still waiting for NOA2. On day 80 since NOA1. ? Boy does this waiting suck, and still have so much more to go.

Ugh! Just got an RFE. We were so thorough too. Hope it's not something stupid like OK Cupid TOS..

But at least there's movement. Any idea how long it usually takes to respond and get through after hearing?

Aww sorry to hear that.. just have the TOS for ok cupid ready, if thats the case and send it back quickly :-)

Everything went smooth with us, its actually faster than we wanted jajaja... we have the interview date, however my fiance needs to fill out a certain part of the DS160 and upload his pic, but he doesnt have access to a computer at this time, since he is doing his service in a remote area with barely phone connection, so we have to wait until May 15th, to finish it up and look at the interview date. We are sure its in June, since in Lima the interviews are done 4weeks to 7 weeks after the Consulate send Packet 4.. (there is no Packet 3) ... I am leaving for Peru in a couple of weeks and will stay until the interview is over.. I have all documents ready. Peru does not require that the Fiance to be present, however it is suggested and high favorable. We are planning our elopement for Sept. 5th in Las Vegas.. that is our Anniversary, so it will be awesome to get married on that date.... Wish everyone much luck with the rest of this Visa process and long lasting happiness...

P.S. Georgia thanks for always helping everyone.. you are

Did anyone get a letter with the case#? Or everyone called to get one?

We still haven't gotten through being put on hold. And the NOA2 Hardcopy asks to email for the case# but they don't reply to emails at all.

When nvc send the case to the embassy they also send a letter to the petitioner.what number are you calling? And yes sometimes the wait can be long but either wait or try calling late or early their time Edited by Georgia16
