Since you are UK it should be an e-mail they will send you but you can start before that with booking the medical and so on .. (Remember that they have just changed UK so you book your own interview)

Try and go to the UK forum there are a lot there about that and how the last couple of days :)

Great, thanks Georgia!

I'm so glad I found this site!

Ah, okay. Thanks!

Doesn't the embassy send something to the beneficiary, too?

If you have your LND you can book your medical now and then go here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/594658-schedule-your-own-interview/ read the details on that thread and book your interview once your case hits London.

Quick update... Visa got to the Embassy yesterday so we immediately sent packet 3. We filled it out a while ago in anticipation of this. Glad we did because this morning I received an email saying we were ready to book our interview. We paid our fee ($265usd) but unfortunately can't book right now. The appointment dates only go out until the end of June and since my fiancee is visiting me for 2 weeks in June until the 30th, that obviously wouldn't work. She'd have to stay here and our plan isn't for her to move here until late August... So, we'll schedule the interview in a week or two so we can get the beginning of July, hopefully...

Glad to see everyone else moving along nicely! Good luck with your interview Georgia! Although, the more i read on this site the more I've come to realize that it isn't about luck at this stage; its just about waiting haha...

Thanks G. The waiting isn't that big of a deal for us because she flies here every other month for a minimum of a week. She just left yesterday actually, haha. And the August thing is something we can't avoid because her best friend is getting married and she's in the wedding. We know we won't get AP in time even if we took the next available interview date (at least not worth the risk just in case), which is next Wednesday. It does suck to see that on the screen and know we can't grab it though! Haha... I told her to tell her friend to just get married in Vegas since she's the only thing that's holding this up haha. Obviously not gonna happen... I'll see her again in June though and then she'll be living here in August. Edited by Chris&Olivia

Haha no she needs to be there for her friend, I'm sure after being together that month waiting is fine.

Good that you can see each others that much! We are lucky too have see each other every 2 1/2 months. I feel for those who have to wait 6+ months to see each other must be extremely hard.

Hope they open for July soon so you can book it, it's still nice to have the dates :)

Hopefully NVC receives soon!

Always like to see new people here confirming NVC so I can compare our NOA2 dates and get a ballpark idea. We are trying to get the medical done in a certain window, but we can't do it until we have an interview. (I think)

Congrats to everyone who got their NVC case number and their NOA2 this week!

My case just got a tiiiny bit more complicated. Somehow they managed to switch my first name to an alias (my old first name, I had changed it legally a year ago), which is weird since I've been phoning in for the case and using my first name to get that case number. And it's also on the official papers they sent us, minus the NVC letter (which is when it suddenly switched). Since it was sent to the Montreal consulate already, I now have to phone/e-mail them and try to get them to fix it. I'm slightly panicking about this!
