Yes you should pick immigrant visa. And whatever it says in the text both now and later don't look to much in to it because it's not correct for us :)

your case in at NVC and will soon go to in transit when it's on it's way to your embassy and when they have it it'll say ready :)

I just called NVC. They have received my case yesterday and they provided me withy case number :dancing:?? Now I can book my medical... I'm going to call them tomorrow to get that booked.

Oh wow thats great!! We have the same NOA2 date and I called this morning and they have not received mine yet...urrgh!! Happy for you though :-)

an application with NOA1 of 30-Mar-2016 had RFE mailed out yesterday, may be an expedite, but not sure

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box

For the Netherlands Dutchies need to wait for the letter from the embassy to book a medical.

But I am getting all my vaccination shots renewed (as they expired) which is then covered by my health insurance (if I go to their designated doctor for the Medical and then get the shots, they won't be covered.)

Calling NVC soon, who knows, maybe they have our case# already.

Could there be a delay in assigning case numbers for certain countries? I'm from the Philippines where A LOT of people are applying for a variety of immigration visas.

I have spoken to them and booked the appointment for next week :D

Readiness form? Don't I need to wait until I did the medical and got the letter from the embassy? I would like to have my interview after my holiday in May :blush:.

Don't know haha we don't do that form here :) Just seems like the others are doing it when the medical is booked but try and ask them :)

I just don't want to already submit it and then get an appointment too early and having to reschedule... I was under the impression that it's difficult to reschedule an embassy interview appointment.

As far as I know there is a wait time for at least a month for London after they have received you reply ...

I just called the NVC and they have received our file but has not been entered into the system yet. The lady I spoke with says it takes about 42 days to enter in the system (please tell me I misunderstood her..lol) from the time the file is received. Anyway I just said thank you because I know it did not take that long for other three members that have gotten their case numbers. I plan to call again either right before 9pm tonight or tomorrow morning or afternoon :dancing:
