I just got a message that my package was held by customs in usa ????????

I dont know the reason and i have called my courier and they dont know why too. Im wprried because of the check and all the paperworks.

Does anyone encountered this one?

???????

The best piece of advice I ever received in regards to this visa process is from a guy over at the British Expats forum - he said pay absolutely no attention to timelines. Everyones application is different, just because yours takes a little longer doesn't mean anything is wrong with it

K1 Fiance Visa:

02/03/2016: I-129F sent

02/11/2016: I-129F petition received at Dallas

02/17/2016: NOA1 emailed and text

02/23/2016: Hardcopy NOA1 received

04/07/2016: NOA2 approved

04/12/2016: Hardcopy NOA2 received

I understand, but does "held by customs" meant they are going to open my package? Or investigate?

02/11/16....I-129F mailed to Lewisville, TX

02/17/16....Delivered at Lewisville, TX

02/19/16....Notice date

02/22/16....NOA1 E-mail. Case sent to CSC

03/02/16....NOA1 Hard copy recieved

04/28/16....NOA2 Approved (Notification received from USCIS App)

Your package is from Singapore a country where they get drugs imported from your package is probably just pulled aside for tjek with all the others.

I'm sure they will release it soon :)

Just saying it's a standard tjek nothing with your package or you :)

I've just done a quick Google search for you - apparently its fairly normal. People are saying it gets released eventually. How long is eventually? I don't know. If it's been there for more than a couple of days I'd give customs a call. Again, I'm not sure of their number. Try a quick Google search - it'll probably be procedural and be released soon though

I'm so excited! :) Will be sending my I-129f package to my mom tomorrow since i'm not living in the U.S at the moment and she will be doing the money order for me. Hopefully it will get to the U.S quickly.

Congratulations :) our I-129F arrived at USCIS in Dallas on Thursday, so hoping to get our NOA1 this week sometime :)

I assume you're talking to me? If so, I live in Newcastle upon Tyne - which is more north, closer to Scotland - but my local embassy is London :)
