NOA2 received today..

Praised God!:)

Very excited received NVC case # just now... For Peru NVC doesn't really do much to it, so its should arrive in Lima by Friday, thats what she said.... OMG.. this is really happening

AAAAAHHHHH FINALLY GOT APPROVED, TOO!!! THANK GOD!

I have to admit I was getting a bit worried as I've been seeing a lot of people with NOA1 later than mine getting approved already. Was scared of the thought of having to wait 5 months to get approved.

But finally, FINALLY got the NOA2 ?? Thank you, everyone! And of course, I'm still praying for those who are still waiting. Goodluck!!!

Approved at last. Damn that is a feeling. :)

Congrats everyone ☺ So exciting! It is indeed such an amazing feeling to know that we are getting closer to being with our loved ones ?

My fiance called NVC yesterday. You need to wait 30 days after receiving your NOA2 to get your case number.

That's a stock reply, my understanding is that they'll have assigned your case a number within 2-3 weeks,

From what I understand, this is just a standard answer from them however I have seen people on here that have already had their case number even though their NOA2 date was in April. I would try again today if I were you.

The affidavit isn't proof. Income Tax Returns are proof. Bank statements are good supporting evidence. But anyone can write anything in an affidavit, so it isn't actual proof of anything.

Of course we'll present tax returns. Just wanted to know if besides tax returns and affidavit bank statement is requested.

Just got my NVC Case # and Invoice ID. Hopefully will be at the consulate in Rio by the end of the week.

Sorry Georgia, I meant to do a multiquote, but pressed submit before I did ? Oops. Anyway, JoshandJanaina had their NOA2 on 04/08/2016 and already have received their case number from the NVC.

Sorry Georgia, what do you mean with that?

Josh is at the military and they have an expedited case meaning they get through it faster then others (with good reason of course)
