So we got our RFE, its asking for 3 things.

-Beneficiary's intent to marry you in the US (ok understood)

-Circumstances of meeting (OK understood)

-International marriage broker (WHAT ? We meet in person )

So what do I do about IMB ?
Just say we met in person in my how we met letter?

Did you in anyway mention online webpage?? Or did you not meet online first and later in person?

We didn't meet online, and we didnt mention anything about online in the petition, I am just going to write a page titled "IMB" and explain in bold we met in person.

If you didn't explain at all how you met, I assume they just included the IMB thing just to cover their bases. I think it's fine to just explain you didnt meet online OR through an IMB.

Finally got the hard copy of our RFE today and it is what I thought it was for circumstances of meeting. Luckily that's what I thought it was so I had already prepared myself so I could send it back right away. I had the one page detailing how we met, the terms and services of the site OkCupid along with some other legal specifics from the site, and an email from OkCupid that they were not an International Marriage Broker. So I overnighted it and it will be there tomorrow! So happy to get our process going again.

Easy their Cowboy. They have the gold you want. I'd keep that in mind when you're snarling at the gatekeepers.

Just explain how you met and "in person" is not going to fly so best to relay to them how you met. Were you introduced. Did you open a door for her. Just explain the circumstances. Easy.

Hey there! We got our NOA 2 early this month (exactly how my VJ timeline predicted!) Patiently waiting for the weeks to pass to call up NVC! I'm following their 2 week wait (this friday) then my fiance will start calling next week.
