Hi guys I'm a march filer just swimming through to see the progress and you guys are really putting me at ease with all the approvals .. How do you know what case is right before or after you ? What numbers do I look at ?? Help please

I personally would advise you not doing that, it's not a true reflection of how close/far away you are from approval. Cases are not approved in chronological order and if you see a case that was received after yours getting approved before yours, it'll make you worry.

I had an RFE for "circumstances of meeting" and "having met in person - last personal meeting". I provided a cover letter stating we met on Christian Mingle and provided their terms and conditions. I also provided a written statement detailing out first meeting through engagement and until now with exhibits of different proof. I provided two updated intents to marry with wet signatures. I also provided two letters, one from a friend who attached photos of us and stated he met us together and another from my pastor who stated he met with us together.

I had both letters notarized

I sent it off next day delivery last night.

Does that sound sufficient for them?

AHHHH We got approved!!!! I was just leisurely checking my search on the app of the cases around ours and it took me by surprise seeing "approved" next to our number!

I'm so excited and also feel so unprepared! I had tried to forget about it so I wouldn't worry and just started checking a couple days ago to see if people around here were getting approved yet.

Congratulations!!! My NOA1 is a day after yours so i'm hoping for some good news soon!

The hard part is planning last minute airfare while trying not to spend $1000's on airfare. In my case my brothers wedding is this summer and I'm hoping my fiancé can be here for that as well so we can all meet the family. I live in Hawaii and my family is in Pennsylvania so it won't be easy to introduce her at a later date.

It might be worth you looking at return ticket prices instead. They can be a lot cheaper and you can just cancel the return journey later, freeing up your seat for someone else.

Been about a week since I've been on here but CONGRATS to all that have recently received your NOA2s! Those still waiting, just be patient... With everything going to California now, it's not quite as fast as it once was. But, fortunately, it still isn't that slow... It was about 52ish days average before I filed and now it seems to be running around early 60s. So it's happening. Those of you with RFEs for the whole internet thing (or worried about it), my fiancée and I met online about 12 years ago on a chat site that doesn't even exist anymore. I simply went on Wikipedia and printed off their spiel about the website. All 10 pages haha... It worked out for us. If your website does still exist then print of their Terms Of Service. Usually a link at the bottom of the home page. Every site has one. As long as it isn't a marriage brokerage site then you'll be good. Good luck everyone!

Be careful in the Philippines. USEM is taking their time about sending out approved visa's and CFO can be a very easy experience if she knows about you and little things they like to ask which I call "gotcha's". If you haven't been to my website (link is in my signature below at the red twisting arrow) you should go and read up on the "gotcha" questions they ask. You guys discuss it and she needs to be confident or they will be sharks on a minnow if you know what I mean. Hold off on the purchase of the ticket till you have the visa in hand. In my years here I have seen some get them in two days from interview to some 30 to 45 days. You just don't know. One guy had to pay over $600 to switch the dates of travel because her visa was delayed.

:clock: Three years ago when my wife processed for a K-1 visa it was taking anywhere from 90 - 120 days to get the application approved. You guys are so lucky that it is only 30 to 60 days. I learned a long time ago that patience is a godsend. I learned not to look at websites or apps It only causes headaches. We are now on removal of conditions on her green card at that can take up to one year to receive. I installed the app when I sent the documents (keep in mind we didn't have an app three years ago) and I haven't looked at the app since installation. It will ring when the ROC has been approved and nothing I do or look or stomp my feet will make it come any sooner. I sleep real well at night.

Good luck to all and stop worrying and checking websites and apps. It will be approved when it is approved. :)
