Just a bit tired of NVC has slowed down so much :/

No we haven't heard anything so called today so i would know when it was sent to the embassy but it hasn't even gotten a case number at NVC yet.

Tomorrow is 3 weeks since NOA2 .... I need a bit more patience right now haha ;)

Did they give you any indication of when they would be able to give you a case number/send it to the embassy?

I fear every applicant is at the mercy of the karmic balance: those who receive their NOA2 super fast are doomed to wait on the NVC. Knowing my luck I'll hit the 80 day mark before I receive mine and then get an NVC number a week later. Madness.

There are still plenty of cases left from Febuary 8th so who knows. I think maybe a few get done from each date at a time.

I've also jumped in the check-other-cases bandwagon while I wait for my NO2 lol ? which prompts me to ask; Are case numbers assigned by USCIS after they check and verify the "basic stuff", (payment, signatures, correct petition forms, etc.), or as they receive them and by case type? I find it curious to see on the app many cases with numbers in sequence and same update dates showing the same status, ie "Case rejected because I sent the wrong fee". That makes me to believe case numbers are assigned after a basic, preliminary check is perfomed and then stacked in a rejection pile. Thoughts?

I'm in the late 500s if you're referring to the CSC reference. What date was your NOA1?

Don't drive yourself nuts by looking at other people's dates, you know it's all hard to estimate because of how different each case is and the workload the clerk might have that is handling yours too.

The waiting sucks, but find some more positive distraction then seeing other people besides you getting approved.

Again good luck to all that are still waiting on their approval!
