My fiancee and I met on okcupid. I went ahead and contacted okcupid customer service and told them about my engagement and the imbra issues. Within 15 minutes they wrote back with a congrats and a personalized explanation that okcupid is not an imbra. I submitted this email and hopefully it will not generate an RFE. Let's see. What do you think?

What you did is perfect. You shouldn't have any problems or issues with what you did.

So what does everyone think? As soon as my FEDEX tracking number shows arrival at NVC should I start calling the next day?

You can but I will bet you will get the "call back in 35 days" speech. I'd wait for 7-14 business days before starting to call. Yours is sitting on the bottom of the pile now and will peculate to the top soon. Patience.

Received my NOA2 Letter in the mail yesterday evening when I got home. I could not believe it. My case was approved on Wednesday April 6, 2016. Not complaining...I just thought it would take long to get to me or never receive it at all (I have read on here that some people never get their NOA2 letter).

It's usually the NVC letter some people don't get. Many need the NOA2 hard copy for medical or interview :)

Hey everyone!

Question: On the I-134 Form (Affidavit of Support). Do I need to fill out question 10 with my fiance's details if I already have answered question 3? It just seems like a repetition unless they are asking if I have ever filed a petition for someone else.

Please help. I am a bit confused. Thank you in advance.

Thanks Georgia16. Do I need to send him the original NOA2 letter or a copy will do? I am putting my package together to send to him.

What originals do they need from the petitioner? I was just going to send a copy of the I-129f package I sent without any of my original stuff e.g. birth certificate, naturalization certificate, etc. I figured this was only required for the petition phase and now they are looking more for his documents right? Correct me if I am wrong.

That is true, you don't have to sent that stuff.

A copy will be fine.

Otherwise you'll need to send him all the financial stuff ...

Received the RFE today. Pretty bummed - waiting on the letter to find out what we need to provide. Hoping it's just proof of an on-going relationship (pictures, call logs, letters, etc - we didn't provide that other than our letter of intent to marry) and not any formal documentation from my fiance, as that could take longer to acquire. The silver lining I suppose is finding this out now instead of two or three months more of waiting. For those of you that have received an RFE - do you know what the expected wait time is after that? Does the 5 month processing time start over?

If you are like me, you can't help but monitor other petitions. (If this is some kind of violation, please cite a link explaining why)

I monitor a cluster of cases with adjacent petition numbers to mine. I look at this thing probably 50 times per 24 hour period. Why? I can't help it. It's probably due to that same thing that has me and my fiancee sending tons of messages while the other is asleep.

Here is what you can do:

Add or subtract 50 or so from your petition number. Check that petition. You can use this to figure out where a string of petitions like yours begins or ends. With the app, you can do this in bulk.

I added certain I129F petitions to my cases. I log in, and there they are.
