So just got the text and email that we were RFE'd and I know I shouldn't upset but it's hard not to be. I have absolutely no idea what they could need I had everything on the list. I checked and double checked and triple checked. The waiting to know what it is is gonna kill me. Anyway it is what it is, does anyone know how long it takes to get the hard copy to know what your RFE is?

Around a week to get the hard copy. I hope it's an easy fix...

So just got the text and email that we were RFE'd and I know I shouldn't upset but it's hard not to be. I have absolutely no idea what they could need I had everything on the list. I checked and double checked and triple checked. The waiting to know what it is is gonna kill me. Anyway it is what it is, does anyone know how long it takes to get the hard copy to know what your RFE is?

It took about 4 days to receive in Hawaii and it's sent from California

It took about 4 days to receive in Hawaii and it's sent from California

Oh ok thats' not that bad so hopefully if I'm lucky I will get it Thursday or Friday and can mail it back out immediately if it's an easy fix. Thanks

Ugh sorry, I will feel the same way if I get one! Did you meet online? Seems like a lot of people are getting them for that, I think we might.

We did but I don't remember putting that on there. The only thing I can come up with is on the form where it says attach one page of how you met. Like a question before that was asking if we had met in person within 2 years. So I assumed they wanted detailed about how we met in person not thinking they want the details of how we met originally. So maybe that is it.

Hope so! I got my hard copy on Saturday and had to wait all weekend to reply. Will be in today's mail. Longest day at work ever....

Haha no worries...I was just thinking yesterday I would almost rather get an RFE than play this waiting game...at least I would know something is happening and that I'm not just sitting in a stack of someone who's probably on vacation lol

Has anyone here ever received a tracking number for the visa transfer to the NVC from the USCIS? I just got an email from my Congressmans office and they gave me a tracking number. Now, I did get approved for an expedite after 65 days of fighting with them so maybe that's why. Anyway my NOA2 was the 8th and it was sent out that day and it's somewhere in Kansas right now heading to the NVC. I was just wondering if this is normal cause I see everyone else saying they have to wait 20 business days to start calling.

I received my RFE last week. One item was that we met online, but we didn't indicate which site. Is it acceptable to only state the name of the site? Will they want something in addition to that?
