It's awesome to see so many getting approved today! It definitely makes for a happy Friday indeed!

Edit* For updating our timeline, do we put the day we were approved or the day it updated on the website to approved? The website says we were approved yesterday but didn't update until ..about five minutes ago - I know because I kind of kept spamming checks on it every hour for the past two days.

So after the NOA2 you wait 2-3 weeks and then you start calling NVC for the case number. (NVC will sent the package to your embassy.)

After case number you can be in here but also have to go to your country specific forum since each step after case number id different from country to country. :)

But after NOA2 the US Fiancé should start collecting the documents for the beneficiary to bring with him/her to the interview :)

Once approved (some have AP for few days other for a longer time) you'll get your visa, you book you ticket and get ready to move.

Once arrived you get married within 90 days. And then the AOS step starts.

Since people probably want to know:

The number for NVC: (603)-334-0888 then press 1 and wait. Ask if they have received your K-1.

thanks for this!

I recently visited my fiancé (two weeks ago) and gave him all the documents he'll need for the interview (letter from my bank, employer, etc). we haven't received NOA2 yet but I wanted to take them to him since I would see him in person and would be able to save money on mailing them. Do you think those documents will be ok for him to present at the interview despite the fact they are dated March 2016-- before the NOA2 date?
