I have downloaded the app! Haha thanks! Once they approve our i129f are they going to mail us back something? Or just email us the approval?

Shall i prepare some stuff now while waiting? Because my fiance will be leaving Singapore for good and go back to US by first week of march :(

I put a list in earlier of what is needed after NOA2 to the interview look at that and make him (USC) fill out the needed papers that way he won't have to mail them to you.

He needs to complete the I134 as it needs to be an original with what is called having a wet signature. Of course and based on the requirements of your Embassy, you'll need IRS tax forms, w2's and employment letter for your interview.

Congratulations on beginning your visa journey. Two thoughts to consider as told me as a veteran. Don't over think the process and don't drive yourself crazy about not having a reply for something you have submitted. This is a marathon and not a race. If you are concern as your question here and we will help you with "normal processing times" and if you are beyond NPT we will help direct you to what you should do to resolve that problem. Most times the answer is not "I have to call" somebody. It can just be nerves.

Ok. So having said that. I would like to give you a gift. I have a website that I designed from my history and knowledge of the processing through the Embassy in the Philippines. On my website I walk your through step by step the required documents and other pertinent information so that you avoid the "gotchas" that are presented while processing. Gotchas can cost you time and or money. Gotchas are those documents that a government agency requires but they don't list them so you have no knowledge until you are standing in front of someone who is asking. What comes over your face is a look no one ever wants to have in process like this. You will be turned away until such time as you reschedule and return with that document. We hate it, but it's what happens in the Philippines. I help you avoid those. The website is FREE.

The link to the website is in by signature below at the red twisting arrow.

I recommend waiting till you get your I129f approval. One never knows what else will be needed in that package you send and it's best to only have to send one with the prices of shipping. Always use FedEx. Just a little more expensive but it's worth it when it arrives with no problems.

Hi everybody, and welcome to those that filed after I did and congratulations to everybody else.

My USPS express mail package went into a black hole on Monday, but emerged and was delivered to USCIS on Tuesday. This morning I received the NOA1 email and text!

On the plus side, I got the express mail fee returned since they missed their guarantee (go to the post office within 30 days). On the minus side I spent all day Monday worried I'd have to reproduce the app and start over.

And, Lewisville seems to be processing the NOA1s pretty quickly right now so hopefully those of you waiting should get it within a few business days.

From the Guide on the top tab :)

What to send to your fiance once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2): 1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one). Your fiance should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well). 2. Send copies of the documentary proof that you submitted with the I-129F for your fiance to have on hand for their interview at the embassy. Your fiance should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well). 3. Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F). 4. I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is signed, with all required supporting evidence. Begin collecting the required information ahead of time, as it can often take several weeks to collect it all. 5. You will need several items (for the above form). Gather duplicate evidence of income and resources as appropriate:

(A) Statement from an officer of the bank/financial institution with your deposits, identifying the following: 1. date account opened; 2. total amount deposited for the past year; 3. present balance

(B) Statement(s) from your employer on business stationary showing: 1. Date and nature of employment; 2. salary paid; 3. whether position is temporary or permanent (also include copies of your last two pay stubs and your previous W-2 for the associated employer if available)

© If Self Employed: 1. Copy of last income tax return filed (or IRS transcripts); or 2. report of commercial rating concern

(D) List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s).

Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. See this FAQ for more tips and useful information on the Affidavit of Support Form. 6. A copy of the NOA2 that you received in the mail. (backup information; the embassy will have copies of this as well) 7. Proof of your ongoing relationship. This needs to be taken to the interview! Include photos, travel documents, emails, online chat logs (pick several over the prior few months), etc.. from between the time you filed and present (NOA1 until date-now).

Examples: Copies of land line and cell phone bills, appropriate emails and letters you have sent including the stamps on envelopes (to document the date they were sent), and other written documentary proof. Provide a reasonable amount; two to four of each type. Pick a range of dates up to and including the present. You can also include a copy of engagement ring receipt (this is something that is a big optional - do not worry if you do not have a ring yet!)

You'll need your (The non usc) birth certificate and police record in english as well :)

Yeah that's right haha the time diff. ;)

Found it! Hopefully we receive NOA1 NOA2 before my fiance leaves so we can still do the paper works together! Whee

No, he'll (USC) just get the hard copy NOA2 which you should take with you to the embassy for your interview.
