Follow up question, how quickly did they receive it for most of you? I know it seems like most people have been getting case number in 3 weeks, but was it received sooner?

They might receive it a day or two before they assign a case number.

You can call: 603 334 0888 and the press 1

Hi Folks, Just a quick question - after a long wait of 107 days on June 8th we received a text for RFE but till date we have not received any letter etc.

Any idea, generally how long does this take?

Can I ask for an email, calling USCIS?

Please advice...

Thanks

It usually takes about 7-10 days to receive the RFE letter in the mail. You need to wait for the letter to find out exactly what the RFE is about, calling or texting won't do any good. If you have an idea what the RFE could be about, you could start gathering the information or documents and have them ready for a quicker reply once the letter arrives. After USCIS receives your response to the RFE, it might take another week or so to get your NOA2.

For us, RFE arrived in mail 6 days after the notice date. We sent it back the same day, and 4 days later they updated that it was received.

It took 12 business days for them to approve us after RFE response was received back at service center. Approval text came at night around 10pm.

It's a bummer it took so long, but at least you know things will be moving quicker now.

After 109 days of waiting (with an RFE), our status online changed to Case Approved! Our NOA2 is on the way. I am in shock because we have just replied and it only took 5 days to get approved from our RFE. GOD IS SO GOOD, what a beautiful birthday gift (It really is what I asked for in my prayers). (L) I am at work and I feel like crying! :crying:

congratulations!

now we get to wait some more for NVC number :)

It depends on your embassy so you might want to ask in your country forum :)

This is for the petitioner's part though, is it still the same?

congratulations!

We're almost at the finish line, I hope! I have my interview in Montreal on Wednesday (the 22nd). Flying out to meet up with my Fiance on Tuesday and get to spend time with him until Saturday! We figured we'd either celebrate or, praying this doesn't happen, we'll figure out our next steps if I get refused. I can't wait until this is all over and I can just have the one thing I really want - a wedding date!
