I'm somewhat losing hope. I have everything set for our wedding and it seems like it's not happening in the time that we are hoping for. I try to be hopeful but hearing nothing everyday and seeing people get approvals when we filed way ahead of them isn't very convincing. I think they have forgotten about some of the files. We did everything right, got a lawyer, provided everything... I don't know why it's taking forever.

I hear ya, it's a very tough situation. You do lose hope and you get frustrated and angry and everything just feels so sucky. Our NOA1 is December 30 and there are still no news, 5 months waiting now and people who filed in February already have their visa in hand. It does break your heart a little every day when you know you could've been with your loved one by now.

hello to everyone

I wish good luck to everyone who's still waiting for noa2, nvc number and interview :)

Last week I had my medical exam and I was told that two MMR vaccination shots are needed. first of all during my childhood when i got most of vaccination shots there were no one MMR shot in my country I had separately Measles and Rubella shots numerous times and Mumps just once. the doctor says i need a 2nd MMR shot. I would like to ask if someone of you had a similar situation?

Thank you. He had his medical today. So glad that's over with. No vaccinations needed. :D Now if we can get this police report that seems impossible to get. That's the last thing we need before we are ready to schedule our interview!

yaay good news :dancing: we are so happy for you, hopefully you will be together soonest. mmmm why it's impossible to get the police certificate? since he's living legally in saudi he can get it. he just need to whom it may concern paper from the consulate in jeddah or the embassy in riyadh, then he has to go to the ministry of foreign affairs (the best time to go early morning because by the afternoon they will not him to go inside even they are working till 2pm) to certified the paper given by the consulate. then he will go to investigation and prosecution authority to request for the police report with his ID too, as I mentioned earlier depends on the mood of the officer the police report can be issued within the same day or it takes 2 weeks. after that he must go to a certified translator centre by the american authorities to translate it to english then it's ready ;)

all the best for him

I have a little question! I know they looking for the medical record, but I got sick last year and was hospitalized and now I have nothing, but I still see a neurologist to check if everything is still okay, do you think they can denied me for that? I'm worried now! I would think they denied if you have a contagious disease but not something else...

So sorry to hear about this :( I can't find a way to deactivate, I've looked around in 'my profile'. Perhaps you can turn off all alerts :/ same difference? Or change email to a fake email. Sorry I can't be of more help.

He was finally able to go to the police department. They said to come back next week and pick up the police certificate. I've heard that it takes around 7 weeks or so to get, so I was relieved to know we will have it in a week. After we get it, we get to schedule our interview :dancing:
