Sorry to hear this Georgia. Where there is a will there is a way. Dont give up just try to get what they need. You are able to them what they need right?

My fiance is working on getting the required government document that they need. He hopes to get it by tomorrow morning (his time) and then email embassy for further instructions. Hopefully we will be approved thereafter. I really wish that they would make some of these things clear to applicants (maybe post on their websites) before hand so we can have the correct documentation or rather how they want it at the interview. If we had know my fiancé needed a letter to accompany the birth record we would have obtained it beforehand but we did not know.

Anyways these are just speed bumps along the way. I'm sure we all will have good news soon.

I hope he can get it fast so you can move on and hopefully be together soon! ...

They took your passports? Should I worry that they did not take my fiance's passport?

Yes they kept ours. No, it can be done differently I'm sure they'll just ask him to give it or send it :)

Basically I'm approved and my son isn't if I can say it like that, also only his ceac status changed ...

I have a question about form I-134:

On the last section of the form (Oath or Affirmation of Sponsor), there is a field for input and I'm not sure what goes in it

How did you guys fill it out?

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box
01/12/2016: NOA1

They Kept our passports so we will get approved when I provide what they want.

They issue is that there are no originals to give them since the Danish government scan it in and then though out all documents so can't get what they want me to give them.

The stuff I gave them is how the Danish government does it so it is a limbo between those two right now.

Wow so sorry to hear this! If anyone deserves an approval it's you!

Georgia, it's really sad and I know words won't fix it, but I just hope the issue will get resolved, you didn't really get denied yet. It's such a pain and so much stress to just try to turn the huge leviathan system your way :( Wish there was someone who could give you real advice, but it's so specific.

Wow so sorry to hear this! If anyone deserves an approval it's you!

Same thoughts!

I always tell my fiance, even if we get an RFE, at least it means someone is working on our file! I'm patiently impatiently waiting to hear something. ;-)

On the app, cases are getting approved and RFE's all around ours, so I am hopeful we at least hear something soon.

We used RapidVisa to help out with ours. Makes it really easy to fill everything out and they give you a packet on exactly how to organize everything.

I know you don't need to use something like that and with everything here, you can do it on your own, but I just wanted the peace of mind. Also, they walk you through every single step and help you with the documents for every single step. Even when it's time to do the Embassy fees, they walk you through that. They also have an office right next to the Embassy in Manila if there are any questions or you need documents or help when it's time to head to the interview.

May I know what the app name is? Hopefully our case gets looked at soon. The longer we wait, the closer we get. However the longer I wait, the more desperate I become haha. I'm patient but impatient, just like you. :D

It's the USCIS Case Status App in the Google play store. There is one for the iPhone also. I just don't have one so I'm not sure of the name of the app. I'm sure others can tell you here.
