I just talked to the NVC, sure enough its on the way to the embassy!! This is so exciting.

Yay! I'm going to call and see if mine made it to the embassy already. It was updated to in transit on Monday so it seems a little fast for it to be there already.

Our case status says "Ready" now! Does this mean the embassy has it? I'm a little confused on the next steps.

I checked mine once I read this and mine says the the same thing as well!

It says "Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. consular section." Etc, etc....

I would think that it arrived at the embassy we should be getting the packet 3 sometime soon??

When I called the lady just said the embassy will contact you when it's in their system at the email I had listed. I was skeptical about it getting there so fast but a timeline I'm following shows the embassy received their's in 3 days then they got packet 3 a couple days later.

Same here, the NVC sent the package to the embassy so quickly that we didn't expect it to be there, but it was. And yes, we got an e-mail from the embassy, your status will say "administrative processing" at that time. They send the documents via DHL, it's quite speedy. It's such a pleasant surprise to know it was faster than you expected. Good luck with the date, hope you get the one you like

After 91 days we finally got APPROVED???????. I can relax that it's not lost in black hole. Heads up those still waiting it will eventually come.

Wait about 3 weeks to call NVC for case number in the mean time read the guides for what to send the beneficiary

I have the same NOA1 date as you, and still waiting as well. It's hard when you don't know when you'll see your loved one again, and you've already been apart for so long... I also am losing my sanity. lol

I wish they had a system that updates us on why it's taking this long instead of keeping us stuck in crazy horrifying thoughts. It's not easy to be patient when your case is not moving forward anywhere and you've got everything set on your end. I'm forcing myself to stay positive and I wonder if I really am or if I'm just thinking it. Anyway, I wish us both the best. I will definitely parade my happiness on here once we recieve our NOA2.
