I received my RFE last week. One item was that we met online, but we didn't indicate which site. Is it acceptable to only state the name of the site? Will they want something in addition to that?

They might want to know also that it wasn't a marriage broker site so I would search VJ with the name of the site to see what others have done

If I call uscis will they tell me what they rfe is for before it gets here?

Nope, they won't. I tried last week. Start a game of solitaire or minesweeper until the hard copy comes.

Yeah as Snowcone said, they will likely want to clarify whether it is an International Marriage Broker. You might want to describe the site a bit and print out the Terms and Conditions of the site. I know they didn't ask for it yet, but I'm wishing I had done this preemptively. I think they will probably ask for more info. about the site we met on.

We met on Christian Mingle. I did a quick search and don't see anything regarding Christian Mingle. I don't believe it's considered an IMB. Thoughts?

Alright, I would print out the terms and conditions from the site and write that you met on that site.

Received my noa2 approval text on Friday 04/08 and today I received the noa2 hard copy....that was fast !

Meeting through a dating website will most likely get you an RFE. Even those that are popular seem to be asked for also. My feeling is that they have to have a TOS from dating website whether it's, Polish, Christian or Singles etc.

Go to the website where you met and look for the Terms of Service (TOS) and print off a copy and return with any RFE you get for this subject. That will satisfy them. This has been a very common occurrence so you're not alone.

My fiancee and I met on okcupid. I went ahead and contacted okcupid customer service and told them about my engagement and the imbra issues. Within 15 minutes they wrote back with a congrats and a personalized explanation that okcupid is not an imbra. I submitted this email and hopefully it will not generate an RFE. Let's see. What do you think?

Yes I think that is how others have had to do it also! Hopefully it was enough!

I had a question that I was hoping you could help me with. I was wondering how long your medical exam would be valid for or how long after the medical for the K1 visa you can still use it for the AOS.

Also from when is your K1 visa valid for 6 months to travel to the US?
