I filed I-130 for a CR1 Visa at the Manila embassy on 05 Nov of 2015. When I sent an e-mail to check the status they replied on 28 Dec. 2015 with the following message: Your E-Mail has been received and your Case #(Case-2015- 12-28-006703154) has been created.

Your petition has been forwarded to the Immigrant Visa Unit with the following contact information.

Immigrant Visa Unit

Website: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html

Email: support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com<mailto:support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com>

Tel: (632) 976-8500 to 02

All USCIS action has been completed.

When I called the Immigrant Visa Unit about my Manila case number they told me the I-130 was approved and they would contact my wife by e-mail when they have an update. Until now we have not received the NOA2 despite repeated calls to them. When I filed they told me 30 to 90 business days but I have seen VJers get their MNL Case Number in one month or less. How long does it usually take to get a Manila Case Number after the Immigration Visa Unit has the petition?

Hi there,

Did you send your email to IVManilareplies@state.gov? You can also try calling them at 705 520 2235. I got this number from a different thread and that's what they used to get their case number. Other numbers to try are (02)976-8500, (02)976-8501, and (02)976-8502.

Good luck. :)

We also filed in November and out petition was approved in early December. I've also called and emailed and have heard nothing yet.

My wife is 5 months pregnant and I really wanted her to have the baby in the USA. Unless we hear something soon it isn't going to happen.

The good news though is that it looks like the interview can be set up pretty quickly once the case number is received.
