12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I have typical American tastebuds and if it doesn't have a cup of sugar in it, I'm not feeling it. The only yogurt or similar product I like is Yoplait and that stuff is loaded with sugar.

Its been a week and I am officially bored out of my mind at being a stay at home house wife with no transportation or personal comp. I dunno how K1 people do it for 3 months. USC spouses need to be REALLY REALLY REALLY understanding in those months. Like to the point of being a doormat understanding. This is boring.

Yay!!

I like Samson. Any dog starting small can be train to like cats. It's all in the training.

BTW what the heck is with those adoption prices!!!!!

Oh I hope he follows thorough with killing himself.

They're surprisingly low. Shelters charge more but these guys are all fostered.

Sometimes you cannot train a racial trait out of a dog. Weims and other hunting dogs are bred to hunt, not retrieve. Huskies are bred to run, not stay in yards. Others are bred to guard or herd. Purebred gsd in colorado start at about 2k.

Hillbilly's dogs are trained to sniff other dogs butts...

We are getting a puppy though because of the cat.

I found pictures of a house similar to ours with an idea of how we can redo our kitchen/living room.

Ours is smaller but it would give us an entrance from the garage. The upstairs living room would become a dining room.
