Well I would wear socks, it looks a bit different when you do. And I haven't decided which color yet, I might get the green pair. I have a pair with similar construction that are really comfortable.

Yes really pricey, but my wife buys them for me. And those are supposed to be the men's pair. I'm not sure why the only image I could find makes them look like the woman's pair.
