Another night of Many-hour (2+1) interrupted sleep, little zzz man.

In better news, overwhelming volume of Rodeo-themed POTS orders, $i man.

Must frenetically sell and quality-test all, conscientiousness man.

[snip] so the chief expectation from this side would be a big ol' VJ hug, see man.

sorry. no.

unless a 'VJ Hug' is a euphemism for something bloody and violent, involving instruments of death having sharp edges.

Well, I certainly could do it.

She's missing out, currently, as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is going on. One of my housemates has a food booth there, some fusion chinese-cowboy food... :D The rest of the housemates are busy overnights cooking up a storm for the booth.

anyway - i think there'd be some implosion if'n Tark and myself were in the same locale, so that's not a good thing. Which would suck, for Asia, as I have more connections in town than Tark does.

We'll gonna be in Houston from the afternoon of June 3rd till the morning of June 5th :)

And the only must-see on our list there is Space Center :)

eh - it'll take her a 1/2 day just to get from vegas to the other side of hoover dam. CBP, Yo ! Internal Border Checkpoint, it's quite messy and slow - I hope they bring a pile o chicken nuggets to sustain them.

There's a CBP checkpoint near the Hoover Dam???

Really?

So I guess we'll have to leave Las Vegas even earlier than I originally thought.

Because I planned to take a Hermits Rest Route of Grand Canyon at the afternoon/evening this same day.

ya, that's not even in 'Houston-proper' - add more time for driving and traffic jams. I wish there was a train going from downtown to the Space Center, but there's not. Lots of Chinese TourBus companies that take the fooks over though - would that help?

If I was helping out with yer tour, I'd focus on private tours of the three sports stadiums, food, and maybe a balloon ride . Still, if yer doing the Space-Center, might as well go 'whole-hawg', drive south a bit more, get to Galveston and have more touristy-fun there - the tourist bits are compressed in space and time, can see more without driving too much there.

I'll get more info on it for you, but yes, figure 45 mins to 90 mins just at the Hoover Dam, that 7 kilometer stretch o road. Prior? you could whip through it in about 14 minutes.

We're gonna stay at one of the hotels near the airport.

Probably gonna see the Space Center on the 4th (it should be opened, I checked its website) and after that we plan to go somewhere to relax, watch the fireworks and all ;)
