Years ago. I wanted to adopt a little girl that I came across. She was in one of these abusive homes. She was the sweetest little 5 year old.

I was denied, mainly because I was a single guy. I was heartbroken. I knew for sure that I could have given her a much better life....

I hope she found a good family.

It drives me nuts the restrictions they have on adoptions. I know a couple who are great parents, she can be a little too crunchy at times for me with all the books she reads. Tries way too hard to be perfect.

Anyway, they tried to get set up for foster care to adoption. They have to faster before they can adopt in that state. They were told they don't qualify as she was raised by her grandmother. Her mom pretty much couldn't take care of her and her when she was born.

There excuse was she could have unresolved issues that she doesn't know about.

They took it to higher up the line and that worker is off their case now, but I don't know if they will ever get anywhere.

They only had the one child because they wanted to adopt so her husband got snipped.

Whatju make for hillbilly supper...

Hamburgers, sausage, veggies, rice a roni. As I was too lazy to make fries. :P

Hey you guys ever try Omaha steaks?

nope

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of great foster homes in NY. Usually people are in it for the money.

Adoptive homes don't get paid, so they're usually much better. People are in it for the right cause.

I know a couple here that raised a set of twins. These girls got very lucky.

nope

Lazy.....

2- I wanna try an Omaha steak...

My dry aged steak is probably better than an Omaha steak...

I wish I could ship them to you guys. I would.

mom who leaves her kid with a drug addict with 9 arrests who has a boyfriend with 25 arrests may as well have left the child in a burning building on purpose. She essentially handed her child over to be raped and murdered.

Oh I meant than Steve's story. Well, I guess there really aren't measurements of evil parents.

And to Steve's go back from where you came from. We've been considered it after my husband has his master thing. I still vote for Norway and I think now that he's been studying it with me, he realizes it would have been a better option than America (he was worried that neither of us knew the language). There is too much conservative religion around here, it is awkward for us.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

BTW I sailed into the arctic circle and stopped in Norway when I was on a carrier.

You strip down to your skivvies and do laps on the flight deck. You get a little certificate in your service record that says you're a "blue nose". (Not to be confused with Tarks "Brown nose")...

You also get another initiation when you cross the equator on a naval vessel. You crawl through a week's worth of garbage from the bottom of the ship to the top, while being flogged and harassed by old sailors. You kiss king Neptune's belly. Now you're a "shellback", before that, you're a polywog...

Might as well be the Bible Belt.

Scandinavians have right of free movement without any restrictions within Scandinavia.

Wow man....for the purpose of immigration too?

That's like a Chinaman being able to immigrate to Korea, at will.

Wait, they do that now. Just not legally....
