Been stressed all weekend. Daughters doctors appointment was moved to today instead of next week. They called us to come in earlier because the doctor will be out of town next week. They just happen to call us after she has the MRI. Now I worry they are using that as a cover story to get us in faster. I hope I'm being paranoid and he really is going to be out of town, even though he was already out of town last month.

On top of all that I can't go to the appointment because the boys are both in school, so I have no one to watch the two little ones. Her appointment isn't till 12:30.

Would it have been a blessing or a curse if they caught every illegal and shipped them out pronto? No Tiff, and no spawn for you right now if they did. It would cost a ton to be doing that though.

Lets see, woke up, made coffee, let the dogs out, sat on my butt a couple hours drinking coffee and playing a video game. By about 10, I was making the wife breakfast, which was served in bed.

Would it have been a blessing or a curse if they caught every illegal and shipped them out pronto? No Tiff, and no spawn for you right now if they did. It would cost a ton to be doing that though.

I can see local voting rights for green card holders, but not illegals.

In that case I might have married her sooner and the kids would be older now....

There are many ways of looking at the illegals.

Is it cheaper to deport them vs. Long term support for them, and their derivatives? The human toll for our tolerance. Etc...

Those derivatives are actually called citizens. If the parents we made legal, they might make enough not to put the child on assistance. They might not too, hard to say how either way would work out. I think a lot of restaurants would go out of business without the illegals though.

I had an orthodontist call and ask if my wife would make it to her appointment in 15 minutes once. She worked 40 minutes away. How may working adults are just sitting around waiting to suddenly change an appointment to right now? Maybe they're just too used to dealing with kids home from school that they don't even consider working adults can't just drop everything and be there.

What's happening Thursday?
