Skype Transcripts and 3rd Party Affidavits - Need some help

I'm in the process of applying for my wife and these are the list of things I'm including with my package ---

1. Payment as required by USCIS using a personal check. 2. Cover Letter. 3. Form I-130: Petition for Alien Relative 4. Copy of ALL pages of the US Citizen's passport. This is used to establish citizenship. 5. A copy of petitioner's proof of naturalization. 6. A copy of the intending immigrant's birth certificate and/or passport along with English translation.
7. A copy of your marriage certificate - both religious and by lawyer. 8. Letter stating no previous marriage --- Do we need this? If so, does it need to be notarized? 9. G-325A filled out by the US Citizen, signed and dated. 10. One passport-type photo (see specification) of the petitioner. Write the full name on the back. Place in a plastic bag and label the bag "Photo of <Insert Name>". Attach the bag to a sheet of paper and place behind the corresponding G-325a. 11. G-325A filled out by the non-US Citzen spouse signed and dated. 12. One passport-type photo (see specification) of the non-US Citzen spouse. Write the full name of the beneficiary on the back. Place in a plastic bag and label the bag "Photo of (insert name) ". Attach the bag to a sheet of paper and place behind the corresponding G-325a. 13. Evidence of a bonafide marriage - This is where I have a lot of questions and need help from the fellow forum members.

These are the documents I'm including as evidence of a bonafide marriage ---

1) Copy of wedding invites

2) Wedding pictures

3) Pictures of us vacationing together post-wedding.

4) Copies of money transfer transactions.

5) My boarding passes that show I visited her.

6) Third Party affidavits --- 2 from her side (Non-US), 2 from my side (US). --- Is it better to have US affidavits over non-US? I heard non-US affidavits are pretty much useless. How true is that?

7) Skype Transcripts - Should I put them in flash drive or print them out in hard-copy?

8) Phone records - Statement showing a monthly plan that I have as well as T-mobile call history. T-mobile only shows the calling card company number. Is that a problem?

Those are all the evidences I'm providing. Do I need anything else? Is it a problem that we don't have any commingled financial account?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you!

Don't need point 6, that's for NVC, unless you're using the beneficiary's passport as proof of trips to visit you.

Don't need point 8.

I wouldn't put the passport style photos in two plastic bags, but that's just me. Just make it as simple as possible for them.

How many visits do you have? Affidavits are pretty worthless so don't even bother with this unless you don't have much bona fida proof.

Add photos of family as well and not just the two of you. They love seeing co-mingling of family. :)

Only send paperbased proof, no flash drives etc, they're just gonna send those back without looking at them.

Many people doing the CR/IR-1 don't have co-mingling of finances, so don't worry about that. Just make sure you put plenty of pictures and proof of having met in person as well as showing how you communicate.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Thank you for your input. If you don't mind me asking, is there a reason why your case is taking so much longer than usual? I thought it typically takes 8-14 months to get everything done including the interview and visa approved. Just trying to make sure I'm utilizing all the learnings from the members of this forum.

I wouldn't get used to the idea of 8 months to complete the process. More like 12-14. You might see some quicker timelines here but there are some people who qualify for an expedited processing.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

Also what else should I provide in order to prove that we communicate on a daily basis?

There are 3 ways we communicate ---

1) We talk on the phone everyday twice - one in the morning and one in the evening and I have a monthly calling plan that I use to call her. But my t-mobile call history only shows that local access number, doesn't show her actual number. So is the call history page from T-mobile enough to proof that we're communicating on a daily basis? Do I provide the whole call history (that shows all the numbers I called) or a filtered version of the history showing the number will suffice?

2) We text on whatsapp everyday. Do I need to provide a whatsapp transcript to proof that we communicate on a daily basis? If so, how far in our communication do I need to go back?

3) We skype on the weekends. So I will be providing paper copy of the JPEGs that show that we communicate on the weekends. Is that enough?

What else can I provide to proof that we communicate on a daily basis?
