Hello,

I am am confused, I need to file the affidavit of support for my fiance but i am confused as to which one. I don't make enough since I work part time but my uncle will be sponsoring him. Do i need to fill out form I-134 or i-864? and do I need to fill one out the form as well or just him? His appointment is in two days and I am stressed out. Please help!!!

what does the packet say?

Should be I-134. I-864 is to be filed with the Adjustment of Status if I am not mistaken.

When in doubt, just do both

Are you sure the foreign fiancé needs to complete one? From my understanding assets that the foreign fiancé don't make a difference for a K-1. I only speak from my experience as my fiancé didn't have to supply any sort of financial information on his end.

Yes. Even if you don't make enough.

Do you have someone willing to act as a "sponsor"? If so, have that person fill out an I-134A Affidavit of Support so your fiancé can have it at the interview. The embassy is looking to make sure your fiancé won't be a "charge" of US Gov't assistance programs

Wait, I thought OP was the petitioner.

The "he" I was referring to was the OP's uncle.

The petitioner needs one and the sponsor needs one.
