Hello.

So the NVC FINALLY received my documents on the 14th of January, 2016 and I got the notification email that day and got the same email for consecutively until the 20th of January, 2016. I have two questions:

A) I didn't "OPT-OUT" to receive correspondence by email, nor did my lawyer, I am just wondering why they stopped sending them. While, I know they maybe automated, they still gave me peace of mind that something was happening...hahaha, I know silly but, I don't like to leave any stones unturned...so is this an indication of something, anything...or am I just reading too much into it? After notifying you once or twice, do they stop?

B) For those that have similar processing times, how long did it actually take to get an interview? It said in the email 30 days..was just wondering if that is accurate, give or take?

Thank you so much for your help in advance.

NVC always sent out snail mail, only if you write on email, they may want to tell you stuff over email.

I got my Case and invoice number over email and mail.

I have CC and my or may not get a email.

This is my 35th day of receiving my doc by NVC. haven't got any update from them. Is anyone here to give us an idea how long does NVC takes to review DS260 and the documents based on average time

Wow.. I am so sure you will get your response sooo soon, because judging from everyone's responses it seems like the average time is between 30-40 days and you my dear are right on the money. So happy for you...

Wish you all the best.

Need some help/guidance.

We sent the AOS and IV package on 2nd March 2016 and they received on 3rd March 2016 (we called and confirmed)

Yesterday (4th April 2016) we called NVC and they said our case is complete. However, they haven't finalized on the date of interview.

Can anyone please advise how long does it usually take for NVC to arrange for interview and inform the applicants?

Thanks in advance.

Ours took 2 weeks to schedule, but there was a holiday during our wait so that could have slowed it. Also it took another week or so to get the official email, I had already called and they verbally told me it was scheduled about a week before the email arrived

Thanks Joshua. We just received an email today saying that they are transferring our file from NVC to our local Embassy which is in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania. They asked to call our local embassy and fix an appointment (Seems weird tho, i believe the appointment is fixed by NVC)

We called the local embassy and they said they will email us once our file has arrived to them.
