Congrats on all the awesome news everyone! I'm wondering if my mom has to be there too...she signed an i864 but lives nowhere near us. I hope it's ok if she's not present

My mom came along as she is the petitioner--and she had to show her ID and passport, as well as her latest tax for 2015.

Awee I'm so sorry I was waiting to here from you as our cases are usually very similar hopefully they will rush this form and you won't have to wait to long !! Good luck !

Thank you Abby. I was getting excited with all the recent approvals and start dreaming about to go to Colombia for my grand mothers 97th birthday surprise party in May. ???

Just checked my USCIS status and found out that both my EAD and AP were approved last friday, April 15. FINALLY!

It initially said card was ordered and now it says it was approved.

I hope I get the card ASAP bec I'll already be having my first job interview tomorrow.

Hope to get it before I accept any job offer.

For those of our fellow february filers who haven't received any update on their cases yet, hang in their.

They are really working on our cases!

I guess it just differs based on our CIS locations.

My EAD and AP took almost 70 days to be approved.

Wedding: January 23, 2016

I just got another email today just now that my EAD is initially said the card and document were being produced but now says approved along with the already approved update for AP.

Hopefully here something about I485 soon

Really kicking myself that I didn't photocopy the I864 x2 and the I864a I'm just gonna bring the new tax transcripts and hope they don't ask for anything else because I don't know how I will get all that asset info again !

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

but don't worry you'll get through it :luv:

I have been a pretty avid lurker and have been reading up on everyone's stories. Congrats to everyone so far.
Just wanted to fill in my timeline here, in case people want to use it as reference:
2/20 Sent Package
2/28 NOA1
3/23 NOA1 Biometrics
4/18 EAD status changed to " New Card is being produced"
Haven't heard anything regarding AP or AOS. But all in good time.

We have almost the same timeline! That gives me hope. I've seen no change in any of our three cases online since February 29 when we got our NOA1. But we did get a letter today from USCIS confirming that they had made the correction to the EAD eligibility category that I requested by mail...back in February :/. At least it means that someone has looked at our file.

Congratulations to everyone that has gotten EAD/AP and their green cards already! That's so exciting.

I've noticed that the estimation below on our AP and EAD on our timelines are almost accurate, except that everyone seems to get their's approved a week before the estimation. So I'm looking at the very first week in May.

yes me too. I think we will hear something soon . Im feeling nxt week....

Congrats!!! It seems that right after having that moment of panic and getting ready to call USCIS, they approve your documents haha.
