From all the stories I am hearing I feel the people that didn't get there EAD/AP and filed in Feb 20th-29th we should hear something by latest end of the next week if we don't hear anything this week ;)

I've noticed that the estimation below on our AP and EAD on our timelines are almost accurate, except that everyone seems to get their's approved a week before the estimation. So I'm looking at the very first week in May. Edited by HopeFab

Congrats on all the awesome news everyone! I'm wondering if my mom has to be there too...she signed an i864 but lives nowhere near us. I hope it's ok if she's not present

Had my interview today at 7.20 am in NYC and was there at 7:10 am (arrived at 6:45 am). A lady called us in. She sworned us first and then started to ask questions such as where we live, and checked the original documents that we presented as well as IDs and passports.

Then ahe asked who is the person signing for the affidavit and my mother was there. She asked her a couple of questions and then asked us if we filed taxes, we provided a copy and then she asked us to confirm all questions in the I-485, which answer was all NO!

Then she asked if we had any questions, we said no. Then she said that we should expect the card between 4-6 weeks if everything is OK.

Three hours later I receieved texts stating that the card was ordered and three hours later the card is in production.

So, I guess my journey is almost over and hope to receive the GC in a week or so--maximum 30 days :)

Did you need to have your affidavits again or just the 2015 updated taxes because on the checklist it says you don't need to re submit if they already have it.

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

Do you guys know if those that heard about their i485 will hear about the EAD/AP at all or does it just sort of get neglected? It seems like all these people posting either a) heard that their i485 is ready to be scheduled for an interview or b) have no news on their i485. I haven't read about someone who had an i485 interview and also got news on their ead/ap afterwards.

I think since you weren't approved yet for green card you might still get ur EAD/AP

Hey Abby--I would seriously submit EVERYTHING that you already submitted in the first packet AND MORE, even though they say you don't need to. I read some things on VJ that said the IO asked for some of those docs even though they would have already had it simply because USCIS lost them or didn't transfer everything to the local office. It's better to be safe than sorry!

That would be so awesome--I hope so! It would definitely make things easier at the DMV.

I don't think I've seen it...what I have seen tho is EAD and/or AP being terminated after Aos had been approved. But you still have a chance I guess since your interview is not for another month or so. Cross your fingers

I guess I will just have to email my cosponsor the pages she has to sign and get her to scan and send them back since I didn't photocopy the whole packet.

So guys today I got a notification about my daughters case, the status of her I765 changed to "new card is being produced" No emails or text about my case,I decided to call uscis and for my surprise the agent told me I never got a noa 1 for my I765 because my package is missing/misplaced and I should re submit the employment authorization form with all the pertinent documents and wait.

? The day I got the Noa1 hard copy for I485 and I131,I called uscis and they said I Will receive it later but never gave me a case number, I called back again about 1 month ago and they said I should wait another month to get the case number. ?

I just went to Walgreens for new passport pictures, will send the form by usps tonight, feeling a bit sad right now...

Just needed to vent right now, as you guys always say nobody knows how uscis works.

Wow congrats and thanks for sharing your experience with everyone on the forum. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of evidence did you bring to the interview?

I brought everything that I sent in the initial package and all the originals of documents that I sent with it. I also brought any new filed taxes for 2015 for us and my mom.

Property deeds, bank statemnets, insurance for car and life, credit cards, but she saw none if these--only ids, passports, taxes.
