What did you send with your original application? Did you send other evidence apart from the forms/documents?

Wow i'm happy for guys ! My lawyers sent my application on February 21st and they still haven't cash my check yet. They can't even find me on their computer. Should I just tell my lawyers to re-send my application at this point ? I am beyond tired of all of this.

Congrats!

What did you send with your original application? Did you send other evidence apart from the forms/documents?

Sent nothing apart from the forms and the requested evidence for those forms, i.e. copies of passport pages. No extra relationship evidence submitted beyond the marriage certificate.

That's awesome, congrats!!!

If anyone has questions about what to bring to the interview, we just received a hardcopy of the interview notice...it's kind of scary. There's a long list of things I wouldn't have thought I needed to bring.

What do you need to bring ??

I've been making a scrapbook of tickets and events my husband and I have been doing since we met !!! That's the only reason I want an interview so I can show someone lol but I'd be okay with no interview too !!

That's a good idea! The list is way too long to type out, but I was surprised that the spouse needed a birth certificate along with the petitioner. You basically need to bring everything in your original packet as an original AND as a copy (since they may take the originals if you don't have a copy). This is in addition to all supporting relationship evidence.

Whelp, guess I'm putting together an AOS packet number 2. I probably should have done this when I first filed, but I didn't think I needed to since all the documents are on my computer anyway. I just have to print them all out and put them in a binder or something.
