MASH, since you've been scheduled for an interview you won't get any EAD/AP card. I think the status would change to case closed or something of the like

But I did do research online that with our status we don't actually have interview dates just that was can get one or they might change there mind and not give interview and do green card instead and this status might not change for another 6-8 months from what I saw from prev people who had this type of update but got there EAD/AP within 3 months

Things might have changed but I ain't sure

That's exactly what it said, I thought I had one n get the letter in the mail but then I saw someone in the forum said his interview date actually shows on the site but mine doesn't n I will just thinking HUH? So I researched to see what is going on

Wish I just got the GC like everyone else , seems less confusing that way

Hey just wondering when i will get my letter stating when my interview is. USCIS website changed my status to ready to be scheduled for interview on 29th March, ive not had anything through the mail as of yet. Cant wait till this is all OVER!!

It should say on the site before the letter comes in, so you might not even get one and they can just give you a GC instead

i really hope i just get my GC ASAP. im 4.5 months pregnant and just want to go home so my family can enjoy my pregnancy and i can share the joy with them as well!

What percent of them actually even change to GC in production?!

I'm praying for that as my husbands job is ***** and even getting a day off is torture and could get fired but we need this job for possible AOS interview

I feel so helpless, I do the cooking and cleaning for the time being that way he comes home to a clean house and good meal but I wish I can help with bills, it's sad to see him going to a job I know he hates just to make sure I can stay here

Since I am seeing lots of people getting there green cards and not have to get ready for interview

I am just curious is there anyone in the group that has there status that says "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" ? And possibly have an update after that of eaither there AOS or there EAD/AP combo card?

I'm in the exact same boat, my status was changed to "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" on the 16th of March but I've heard nothing since. EAD/AP hasn't been updated since Feb when I got the NOA.

What you say about the interview not actually happening is interesting and would be nice, but either way I don't mind as long as I get the EAD/AP sorted

Check your status again later tonight. It will probably say "Approved". For some reason it posts the status in reverse order. First status - "card being produced" - 2nd "Case Approved" and 3rd "My Card was Mailed".

For those wondering about interview or not, Green card before EAD or not and al those fun things, here's what you can do (though I'm sure a lot of people are disagreeing with me I've been fairly accurate (within 2 weeks) on several cases.

Check the AOS timeline page.

Filter for K1 (or what ever is appropriate) and filter for your local office.

Sort by NOA-1 and start looking at approved timelines.

You'll see if there is a decent change of getting an interview or not (of course you can always be randomly selected). And you can see how many days most cases have to wait between NOA and decision.

Ignore anything before November (lot of these people got hit by the "potential interview waiver"

Ignore anyone with an RFE (unless you got one yourself).

Do this for a couple of days/weeks and you'll see a trend developing for your office. Regardless of whether your case goes there or stays at the NBC, there is a definite coloration between wait time and field office.

Hi Brian05, I'm in the same boat as you. Docs received 2/9, last touch was my NOA1 on 2/16, and biometrics completed on 3/2. Good luck!

Good luck to you too, snyc01! When we get the EAD/AP document, do you know if we have to surrender that I-94 to somebody or can we just remove it from on our passport? I wonder about that...
