Wow you already have the tax return that was quick my hubby got his W-2 the other day so I couldn't even include that in my packet hopefully I don't get an RFE asking for it. And MASH used a money order maybe ask her ?!

Check the message below could that be why your AOS is taking so long to get an NOA1 what address did you put on the money order

He had his W-2 early for some reason. We went to H&R Block on superbowl Sunday and got everything filed. For some reason, hubby can not access his H&R account online and can't print a copy for the affidavit (DUH).

MASH answered me in PM. Life saver as even google can't help me! ( USCIS Lady on the phone was even worse! 20 minutes waiting on the phone, 2 mins to tell me she didn't know which adress.)

Sent mine in on the 4th. Hubby forgot to send it certified mail so I am trying really hard not to freak out. Eagerly awaiting this cheque to be cashed/NOA1.

Don't worry. I sent mine the same day as you (priority mail). It got there on the Saturday (the 6th), they got it on Monday (the 8th) and I just got the email last night.

Yours should be coming very soon.

Good luck to everybody!

I am actually hoping for an interview as you are likely to get your green card more quickly that way. From what I have read in many other threads, the main reason for an interview being cancelled is because that office is backlogged and can't fit in all the interviews it needs to and thus, your application will actually take longer due to said backlog.

i joined a group page in facebook. some got gc no interview no rfe in just 3 months.

My guess is how well you did your paperwork

i think your right. i think its if you send more evidence on how bonafide marriage you have. like photos, joint account, insurance etc.

3 months!? That's incredible. Never mind then!

Do people actually send all that? I mean, my application was stacked and filled out to the T (I think) but I didn't include photo's or joint account stuff since we didn't have any of that from sending in our application so soon after getting married. Under what premise would you include photo's?

K1, EAD/AP + AOS + ROC = 0 RFE's

Next step: Citizenship!

I included photos of my husband and I to show us getting married with our friends (we got married at the local court house), us going on road trips and vacations. In our case we has been married for almost 2 years already and together for 3 and a half. I figured USCIS IO would want to see as much proof of bona fide marriage as possible. Edited by pilotkausa

No where did it ask for pics Or extra items. I sent exactly what was requested. Marriage certificate was one of the items. Also my 2015 taxes are not done yet. I sent last 3 yrs.

I wouldn't worry about it I sent everything requested and pictures were not one of them but I'm sure sending them doesn't hurt either. Bring pictures to the interview !!

I used this topic to make sure I had everything. Litteraly, I copied/pasted the list on microsoft word and printed it, checking everything as I gathered it!

Sending my package this week and we have no proofs of ongoing relationship with it. (It took us forever to send it as my mother in law had a stroke 1.5 week before our wedding, money had been tight since then as, instead of being 2 weeks of travelling to MD and then SC for our honeymoon, we actually were 3.5 weeks in MD. We had to set amount of money aside every paycheck! But life it life and my MIL actually made a miraculous recovery according to the doctors following her!)

Also, None of my forms have barcode. I used the one on USCIS. I hope it won't be a problem.

Your fine we all did the same thing they were just talking about possible ways to expedite the process and avoid the interview. I used the same checklist that a couple posted a little while ago and the same one MASH used. There is no need for ongoing relationship proof that only for the K-1. Although when you do have your interview I think you have to bring proof there and for when you remove conditions two years later.

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

I got some reports from our joint bank account, we have life insurance, health insurance and the apartment lease. I'll see what else to add as we decided not to put my name on any bill until I've had a job for a couple months. (we have pictures, obviously.)

Sounds good that's about the same as I have I cant get health insurance until my new SSN comes in since I'm going on my husbands national guard health insurance. Sounds like your on the same track I'm sure you'll get paperwork before the interview to tell you what you should bring.

the facebook page had all the sources. and share all experiences and common RFEs. mostly now. its the medical but some get lucky... yep theres a list there and sample form where you can fill it up. theres also a site a female filipina blogger who post how she even arranged her papers. and other supporting docs.

its better to send everything you have than having the risk of rfe.

but also take note. some got theres approved without sending photos but just marriage certificate itself. it really depends on who process your paper i think. but i believe if you send more proof it would convince them more. .

i guess lets just pray it will be smooth process with no RFE ..
