I had my biometrics appointment of March 23rd in Philadelphia. Today I got an email for Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. It states that my case has been transferred

to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice. The notice explains why we transferred your case.

I wonder what it means!

First I heard of in the February fillers. Let us know more when you get the letter.

Hey everybody I am February filer like most of you. I had done my biomectric on the March 9, 2016 and the USCIS online status change to "case ready to schedule for interview" on the March 19, 2016.

Congrats ...they are probably just getting your file ready for an interview...the file is normally sent to local offices prior to interviews

Happy to report we got all the noa 1 hard copies today! :yes:

Package mailed: February 12th

Delivered: February 16th

Checks cashed: February 27th

Noa 1: February 29th (email and text) March 4th (hard copies)

As in March 21? That's not that strange. Mine took about 10 bus days to be cashed. If they don't do it Monday, I would give them a call.

K1, EAD/AP + AOS + ROC = 0 RFE's

 

Next step: Citizenship!

Great news! I thought it was an April Fools joke, but I just got an email that my wife's cases were updated. The status for EAD says "Case Terminated Benefit Received by Other Means". Her AOS status says "New Card is Being Produced".

I can only assume her AOS has been approved without an interview!!! (and much much faster than we thought)

Just came back from my biometrics appointment in Elizabeth, NJ. The waiting time is no joke. Our appt was at 12 pm we were there at 11 am and got out at 3:30 pm. The actualy fingerprints and pic were really fast like less than 10 minutrs but that wait was killer. We could have cellphones but they had to be turned off. Those who were sneakily trying to use it were sent to security and had to start all over again. Also, i would recommend taking a book or magazine to pass the time :P

April 16th, 2015: Medical in Montréal
May 15th, 2015; Interview- APPROVED!
June 22nd, 2015: POE at Champlain Border

February 20th, 2016: AOS/EAD/AP Package sent! (Received 2/25, yay for USPS delays!)

March 4th, 2016: NOA 1 for all 3 applications

March 11th, 2016: Hardcopies with all 3 receipt Numbers received

March 30th, 2016: Biometrics (as a code 2, Maybe have to go again?)

April 25th, 2016: Walk in for the SECOND Biometrics appoinment (Code 3 this time, Officer was not the happiest but told us to come back at noon and he'd let us in.)

May 16th, 2016: Submitted Service Request for I-765

June 8th, 2016: Called USCIS concerning delay, officer put another request in and said the previous one would like be ignored as it was created through their website.

June 21st, 2016: Contacted both NY Senators.

July 1st, 2016: RFIE for I-485.

July 8th, 2016; Sent Evidence Requested by USCIS. (Received July 13th)

July 15th, 2016; Emergency Advance Parole due to Family Emergency

July 27th, 2016; Contacted USCIS Ombudsman as my I-765 has been pending for 5 months.

July 30th,2016; EAD/AP have been approved!
