Hey everybody

I am February filer like most of you. I had done my biomectric on the March 9, 2016 and the USCIS online status change to "case ready to schedule for interview" on the March 19, 2016. Earlier this morning i just saw that the status change again to 'Interview is scheduled :dancing::dancing::dancing: . My interview is schedule on the May 2, 2016. Anyway we are applying AOS for K1 visa. I pray everyone of you will got a good news too.

I knew you both would get it soon! I would check the link one of the users posted earlier to see if you can do a walk-in at the other Philly address. I've definitely heard of people going to a different biometric office than was written on their biometric notice.

do ya guys think if I do my bio b4 the date or after. Tryina use my huskies off since I can't drive to Orlando :/

You cannot do your bio after the appointment. They will assumed you missed your original and this can have drastic effects on your case! Go before or for whenever your appt is scheduled

Question for people that already did there Bio appointment , any new news on ur cases ;)? And if had heard something how long did it take to hear back? :)

I had my successful biometrics on February 29th, and haven't heard anything or had a status change on any of my case numbers.

K-1 Visa Process (182 days from I-129F filed -> Visa in Hand)

 

 

May 10th, 2015: Got Engaged!

June 12th 2015: Fiance filed I-129F, June 19th, 2015: (NOA1) Received at California Service Center

July 23rd, 2015: (NOA2) NVC received

Aug 31st, 2015: NVC Approved and fwd case to consulate in Montreal. MTL case # given.

Sept 8th, 2015: MTL received and sent P3 by mail, Sept 18th, 2015: P3 received in mail, Sept 18th, 2015: DS-160 completed and P3 documents sent by e-mail

Sept 21st, 2015: P3 Approved. Received P4 by e-mail, Sept 21st, 2015: Booked K-1 Visa interview for December 2nd, 2015!!

Oct 2nd, 2015: Booked Medical in Toronto for November 12th, 2015

Nov. 12th, 2015: Medical done in Toronto, ON with Dr Lyndon Mascarenhas. Highly recommend him!!

Nov. 17th, 2015: Medical results delivered by Purolator

Dec. 2nd, 2015: Interview in Montreal... APPROVED!!!!

Dec. 9th, 2015: CEAC status changed to Issued!

Dec. 11th, 2015: Ready for pickup at Waterloo location. Picked up and Visa in Hand!

So I guess by April 11 roughly I should know something ,I pray for no RFE for once lol

Again, really depends on who's desk you land on/ how busy your local office is. I am going to go ahead and assume that whoever is processing my case is slow as molasses or the local office is backed up because people who had bio's after me have already heard back. My bio was March 9 and my case, according to the USCIS site, has been untouched since Feb 18 :(. Also, like I mentioned before, cases like Simon's (ie. non K1) seem to be moving quicker.

All that said, I hope yours moves along quickly.

K1, EAD/AP + AOS + ROC = 0 RFE's

Our biometrics appointment was 3/4 but our case hasn't been updated since 2/10...still says 'fingerprint fee was received' for I-485 and 'case was received' for I-131 & I-765. So we wait patiently.... :clock: We were finally able to get my husband his PA ID card and driver's permit, so that is exciting progress :thumbs:

One of the users above posted that they were transitioning from a K-1 and received notice of an interview. Their biometric was on March 9th I believe, so I hope everyone in that time frame gets good news soon!

Let us all hope we hear something very soon , I'm praying no interview though and just give the GC after the EAD/AP as I suck at interview and get super shy plus it's hard for my husband to have off from his job

does it have to b 1 pm like they wrote or it can b 2 or 3 latter that day. We are trying so my husband won't take off work. Usually he b home 1:30 so I was wondering if I can go after
