Hey everybody

I am February filer like most of you. I had done my biomectric on the March 9, 2016 and the USCIS online status change to "case ready to schedule for interview" on the March 19, 2016. Earlier this morning i just saw that the status change again to 'Interview is scheduled :dancing::dancing::dancing: . My interview is schedule on the May 2, 2016. Anyway we are applying AOS for K1 visa. I pray everyone of you will got a good news too.

Congratulations!!! What good news to start the week!

awesome... i knew i would not be the only one getting it so fast.. and when i compare the timeline its kinda accurate as you filed the 3 days later :)

the only thing that kinda bothers me as that most likely i won't have my ead beforehand - so no SSN.

and without SSN they won't take my name on any of the utility bills.

i can not open a bank account - as they need whether SSN or an utility bill... its kinda frustrating but she took me on her cards.. hope thats going to be enough evidence.

and i hope its an obvious excuse.

I was able to open a joint account with my husband with nothing but my native passport and social security card (they needed two forms of picture ID) I went to Wells Fargo

They only accept the approved I797, so I think it's the NOA2. They should accept the EAD though.

Ah, I wish they told us that! We don't have the EAD yet unfortunately. We just decided to go to a different office that will hopefully accept these docs.

i don't have a SSN so far.

Check with your bank to make sure it's actually needed. I was surprised that Bank of America only needed 2 forms of identification and didn't require a SSN at all (just a passport and a credit card were sufficient to add him to my account).

You're welcome. I was lucky with Wells Fargo. Try your luck with them. If not try BOA like Francais_usa said. Just bring 2 forms of picture ID. My husband only needed 1 and a credit card. Edited by HopeFab

Bio Review:

Pretty simple really, I got there 40 min early and no one was there except 2 other people, when I got to the agent I just showed my passport and letter (didn't have to show marriage certificate since I kept my last name) and then i filled out a simple form that had put my full name, DOB, height ,weight and my A# with the MSC#'s I applied for , then I gave the sheet back and waited for my # to be called which only took 8 mins then the gentleman scanned my letter and then took my fingers to scan and then scanned each finger on its own ( my right pinky finger wouldn't fully scan but he said 9-10 fingers is ok) than took picture and then that's it :)

Biometrics appointment in Seattle was nice and easy, in and out in 30 minutes.

However, my husband's I-485 case status updated again today with the same status as before: notice was returned to USCIS because the post office could not deliver it. Don't know how that's possible since USPS delivered all our other mail today, I guess they just decided to leave out the letter from USCIS for god knows what reason. We can't put in another service request with USCIS yet, so in the meantime we're gonna have a word with our post office. UGH so much anxiety...
