I'm not sure as well. Im not a k-1 filer but I believe since we did file the I-130 concurrently and they went along with the adjustment it could mean that it's approved and they don't bother sending approval notices since we're adjusting. My NOA1 shows an A number up top did u notice that?

Okay that makes sense... hope some more good news here today :) but as i am early feb, maybe thats just the beginning :)

I feel like the speed depends on what type of visa you came in on. It seems the people who's timelines say "other visa" rather than a K1 for instance, get priority. Which is not to take away from Simon because that's amazing news, more so for myself to not get too excited haha. I seriously hope I'm wrong though.

I have noticed that too, however I believe that only k1's can get their card without doing an interview. Edited by iPod

well just received our RFE in the mail and there is nothing specific in it as usual... ;(

But our income meets all the requirements, the only thing is that I forgot to include my W-2 from lawful source but my husband meets the poverty guideline with his own income and it shouldn't be a big deal at all.

That's annoying. They're definitely being more strict about meeting the income requirements, and I've seen RFE's for people that are way above as well, which is really strange to me...Are you planning on just sending your W-2 or are you going to get a joint sponsor?

yeah that RFE makes no sense, esp in this form.

Our combined income is twice as much as poverty guidelines for family of 3 and my husband with his self-employed income makes above the line. so annoyed now.

We don't have one either and it would be difficult to get one honestly. He already asked his mother and his stepfather but they seem to be hesitant for some reasons.. ugh

And I don't feel like we need to obtain a joint-sponsor when we are way above the poverty guideline.

I will resent the same paperwork that we already did with everything that we possible can:

form i864

IRS tax transcript for 2014 tax year (filing jointly)

my W-2s for last 5 years from working for State of Texas.

Extension form filed with IRS stating that our paperwork is not done yet and we asked IRS for an extension to file 2015 tax return (automatic extension for 6 months)

Self-employment loss and profit statement form Quickbooks (need to be done by me, ugh) for 2015 and beginning of 2016

Husband's Bank statement (deposits only- has been sent already) for last 12 months

My bank statement for last 12 months

My pay-stubs for last 6 months

assets: (even though we don't need them but still)

Car titles (7 in my husband's name, 1 mine, 2 co-owned) in my husband's and my name.

KBB value of the cars

possible 1099-misc for 2016 from his employer (sub contractor)

employment letter from his employer for 2016 (current income)

If that's not enough, I don't know what could possibly be needed then... :ranting::ranting::ranting:
