This in my opinion is not a good idea. Never send anything until you're asked to. Better thing to do would be to have your 2015 tax return/transcripts ready to go if you do receive an RFE for them, but it's never recommended to submit anything unsolicited, even if you think you'll have to eventually. Always wait for the RFE (if there even is one to wait for).

Yeah, this might be a better move! I just thought that RFE's really delay the process, so I was trying to speed things up by suggesting one send it in earlier, but you're probably right. They shouldn't even be asking for 2015 returns now, so it may depend on who the adjudicator is as well.

I also don't understand how they can ask for 2015 tax returns already.

I went to SSN office for that. But they told me they can update anything only after I have a green card. Until then I have to use the EAD/AP card for employment. They wouldn't update my last name either.

Ohh I see. Yeah I figured you would only be able to do it with your gc I was hoping to do it sooner though. Just one more thing we have to wait for lol Thanks for the info!

I think someone earlier in the thread suggested maybe they have a quota to fill for RFE's? Especially with all of the conspiracy theories and speculation about immigration lately maybe they are trying to make it seem like they're "doing more" to prevent "bad applications" from going through, even if those of use going through the process already know it's difficult enough.

Even its a pretty short one so far.

Jan 15th got married

Jan 29th after 10 calls finally received marriage certificate

Feb 3rd sent package for I-485 I-130 I-131 I-765 to Chicago Lockbox

Feb 5th Package Received

Feb 10th Noa 1 email

Feb 15th Noa1 hardcopy

Feb 24th biometric apt letter for March 11th

March 11th successful biometric appointment

There is still 2 of my receipt number not working... I-765 (EAD) Works, I-485 and I-131 don't. That is so odd.

The receipt number for my I-485 doesn't work either. I called USCIS a few days ago and I was told to wait for 45 days and if still it does't work call back again . Hopefully it won't cause any delays in reviewing our applications.

I am not sure if the status doesn't change is a good thing or not. I have seen some people post their experiences that their status just changed from received directly into interview is scheduled. And they claim it's the only time that their cases updated!

i received my AP and AOS noa letter and i even receive my biometrics letter but for EAD, It seems like the NOA was return back to uscis though all my application has the same address. now online my uscis status is DOCUMENT WAS MAILED. I did an e request. also my address is PO BOX address here in guam

Yep, no bio letter here either. :/ I'm leaving town this weekend, so I'm going to make my husband obsessively check every day while I'm out haha
