Checked mail today and sadly no bio today..still hoping it comes by March 17th or by latest March 19

I checked as well, and nothing either. I'm not too stressed about it though--I received some really good news today. We tried calling our local SSA and finally, the agent told us the application was sent back after DHS verification and we should be getting the card in a week. I'm not sure if this was done by our congressman so quickly (I doubt it since we just received an initial response from their office yesterday), but regardless, I'm so happy! My husband can try to get his driver's license now!

Hey guys, I also got a RFE for the I-485, I wonder what it is (only got the email).

At least someone is looking at my application (I'm trying to stay positive here).

I hope it doesn't delay my case too much.

So he is getting his EAD before the Bio?

No, he's just getting his social security card that says not authorized to work w/o DHS permission or whatever--we just need the card in order to get his learner's permit.

So if any of you didn't send your 2015 returns, I would preemptively send them to USCIS to avoid the RFE--I saw some posters in the January filing thread just receive RFE's for that.

Yes it changed to request for initial evidence sent.

So if any of you didn't send your 2015 returns, I would preemptively send them to USCIS to avoid the RFE--I saw some posters in the January filing thread just receive RFE's for that.

I saw that too and I was thinking it may be because of that. I don't know what I'm going to do if it is.

Mine says that because I cam in as F-1. Can you remove it when you get EAD or until you get your GC?

I went to SSN office for that. But they told me they can update anything only after I have a green card. Until then I have to use the EAD/AP card for employment. They wouldn't update my last name either.

This in my opinion (and from reading quite a few threads on the forum about RFE's) is not a good idea. Never send anything until you're asked to. Better thing to do would be to have your 2015 tax return/transcripts ready to go if you do receive an RFE for them, but it's never recommended to submit anything unsolicited, even if you think you'll have to eventually. Always wait for the RFE (if there even is one to wait for).

There is still 2 of my receipt number not working... I-765 (EAD) Works, I-485 and I-131 don't. That is so odd.
