I can't believe it went so fast!!! ???

Ahh, congragulations! And I third that request for a timeline, pretty please!

Edit: I took a look at the one you have posted. Did you actually get a NOA in two days? That's incredible ...

Congrats, that's amazing to be so soon! This gives us all hope that it can be done really quickly.

I just came back from biometrics, so now I'm going to be counting the days according to your timeline (and probably be totally disappointed in how much longer mine will be).

AOS:

  • 02/11/16 Concurrent filing of I-130 & I-485 sent via FedEx
  • 02/26/16 Hard copies of NOA's arrived in the the mail
  • 03/04/16 Biometrics appointment letter arrived in the mail
  • 03/07/16 Unsuccessful early biometrics walk-in attempt at Aurora, CO
  • 03/15/16 Successful alternate location biometrics walk-in completed in Milwaukee, WI (on actual appointment date
  • 04/19/16 I-765 approved and new card ordered
  • 04/23/16 EAD received
  • 01/09/17 Case scheduled for interview - notice received in the mail
  • 02/14/17 AOS Interview - approved at the interview - happy Valentine's Day!
  • 03/21/17 Two Year Card received!

Ok everyone--this may be a weird question, but I already posted this on another thread that wasn't related and I'm freaking out about something. I guess I didn't realize I wasn't the petitioner anymore--I thought the USC was still referred to as the petitioner and the foreigner was referred to as the beneficiary. But for AOS, the petitioner is actually the foreigner. So in form I864, I checked the box that said I was the petitioner sponsor and that I was petitioning for my relative. I also referred to myself as the petitioner on my cover letter and checked the box about military status for petitioner sponsors only...will this lead to an RFE? So confused--please help!

EDIT--it looks like I'll be ok according to another poster. Phew! Crisis averted.

Awesome!! You just gave us hope, even tough my case hasn't even been touched yet.

Did you get any updates on the USCIS website?

What visa did you adjust from?

You should be fine, the petitioner is the USC in the I-864 (from my understanding of the form).

Wow! What are they doing?

The amount of people getting RFE's for incorrect items is mind boggling. I feel like they suddenly have some sort of RFE quota to meet and are dishing them out all over the place. So weird. Hopefully this is just a tiny bump and your application moves along quickly after this.

Also (and this I am addressing to everyone) mine hasn't been touched since the 18th of Feb (my NOA date). Is that normal?

K1, EAD/AP + AOS + ROC = 0 RFE's

 

Next step: Citizenship!

02/01 NOAs for AP and working permit

02/04 NOA for GC

02/08 got all NOA documents by mail

02/23 got biometric appointment

03/02 did biometric

03/15 scheduled for interview posted and text notification received for 04/18

Thanks, yeah I was looking over other RFEs and this is crazy. Its ok. They will have all 3 items tomorrow. I also hope the rest of the process goes smooth.

That's like the 3rd RFE I've seen for income requirements and most say their salaries exceed the limit by far...now I'm scared. You'll be fine. Just send ASAP. Good luck.

I've noticed so many RFE's for I-864 too. I don't understand if you follow the instructions and make enough money there shouldn't be a problem.

The birth certificate is an easy fix, so I know you'll be fine.
