Hey everybody I am February filer like most of you. I had done my biomectric on the March 9, 2016 and the USCIS online status change to "case ready to schedule for interview" on the March 19, 2016.

Really? I heard that wasn't allowed in Baltimore. What time did you go in?

Walk ins are allowed in Baltimore.They didnt even ask why I was here before my scheduled date. I got there at 10am and left at 11:19am. Edited by katie123

Hi February Filers, I missed my Biometrics appointment today... My appt was for 3:00 and I left early since I'd have to cross rush hour traffic. Even with my anticipation I was a little late and arrived at the Seattle office at 3:05... Only to find that the ONLY parking for miles in either direction is Cash Only!!!!!!! It says so on their website and the reviews (But not on the appointment letter...), but I had completely forgotten, and of course only had a few quarters in my purse. After frantically driving up and down the street thinking maybe I could park elsewhere and run in (Nope, this USCIS office is in the middle of bumf**k nowhere on the side of a highway covered in NO PARKING signs), I finally tried to find an ATM. By the time I got back it was 3:30 and the parking attendant said they were closing and wouldn't let me in and to save my money. UGH!!!!!

Feeling really upset.. I was there!!! I only missed my appointment because some ####### business owner doesn't want to pay the minuscule business transaction fees. All that driving today for nothing! :(

I'm so upset I can barely think straight... going to look at what to do in the morning after a good night's rest. :( Hope y'all are having some better luck :cry:

Hey vanlaria, my husband and I are also in Seattle and also missed the biometrics appointment. They automatically rescheduled us for another appointment. Instead of March 1st, we have an appointment on March 23rd. You should probably still contact USCIS, but you'll be fine!

In our case, they sent the biometrics letter to the wrong address. We didn't even know we had an appointment, so we had no idea that we missed it till USCIS sent us an e-mail saying we had been re-scheduled. :( From what I've heard, walk-ins in Seattle are hit-or-miss, so we're just waiting till our new date.

I would try doing a walk-in first, then if that doesnt work you can call or schedule an info pass.
